AfterElton Briefs: Autotune's latest smash, "Shameless" Soars, "Twenty Three Love Stories," and More!

Ed Droste and Chad McPhail

  • OUT has a feature titled Twenty Three Love Stories, which profiles some of their favorite couples, and above you can see one of those couples, Grizzly Bear front man Ed Droste and his interior designer fiance Chad McPhail.
  • Below you can see Meredith Viera's interview with Johnny Weir from this morning's Today show. Johnny talks about his new book, and why he doesn't "define myself as gay."

Andrej Pejic

  • The face of Marc Jacob's Spring 2011 Campaign has been picked, and it's 19-year-old Serbian model Andrej Pejic, who's become a sensation in the modeling world for his androgynous look. Personally, I think he looks like he stepped out of a Final Fantasy game.
  • The new, sure-to-be-a-smash-hit from iconic artist Autotune has been leaked a day early. You can listen to it here. After all the rough times and troubles, Autotune sounds better than ever!
  • Did you know that all of those bird deaths last week were caused by the repeal of DADT? It's true! I heard a nutjob say it.

  • The Director's Guild Award nominations have been announced, with Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan), David Fincher (The Social Network), Christopher Nolan ( Inception), David O. Russell (The Fighter), and Tom Hooper (The King's Speech) all vying for the award. Only a handful of times has the DGA winner not gone on to win the Oscar.
  • Below you can see the collaboration of young indie singers Artists Against Hate with the equality anthem "Different."
