AfterElton Briefs: The Razzie Noms, James Franco's Sex Tape, A Must See "Oprah," Hercules & Love Affair, and More!

  • Above you can see hot furry ginger Andy Butler, the out frontman for dance band Hercules & Love Affair . Their new album "Blue Songs" is released on January 31, but you can stream and listen to it below.

  • If it's the Monday before the Oscar noms, it must be time for The Razzie Nominations, and this year the 31st Annual Razzie Awards honor for Worst Picture battle is between Typically Awful Jennifer Aniston Romcom, Whitewashed TV Kids Show, Horny Dingbats Fall Off Camels, Gay Vampire and Werewolf and their Sleepwalking Beard, and Lame Parody of Gay Vampire and Werewolf and Their Sleepwalking Beard .
  • Also duking it out in the Worst Supporting Actress category are legendary divas Cher, Barbra Streisand and Liza Minelli. I love them all, but Liza deserves it for her reanimated corpse version of "Single Ladies," which even I thought was ghastly.
  • Below you can see a PSA featuring Charlie David and Darryl Stephens about GLBT movie piracy, and how it hurts independent filmmaking. You can see more on the Just Cause page at Logo (our parent company).

  • John Polly has all the scoop from the red carpet of the premiere of season three of RuPaul's Drag Race, including interviews with Ru and Adam Lambert.
  • Newsweek held an Oscar Roundtable with Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth, Annette Bening, James Franco, Natalie Portman, and Michelle Williams, and below you can see James talk about the sex tape he made when he was 19, and how "sometimes what feels good doesn't look good." BTW, it's best to ignore who the interviewer is.

  • Dan Savage may be bringing a TV version of his advice column to MTV. A pilot has been ordered that would "follow Dan as he tours college campuses giving his brand of brutally honest (and sometimes graphic) sex and relationship advice."

  • Tomorrow's Oprah Winfrey Show will look back on 25 years of shows focused on raising awareness on issues of importance for GLBT people around the world including homophobia and marriage equality. Above you can see Oprah, guest Greg Louganis, and a viewer who says that Greg's appearance on the show years ago helped him come out.
  • Finally, below you can see Johnny Weir interviewed on The Gayle King Show about the dark side of figure skating.
