AfterElton Briefs: Naomi Watts is Princess Diana, Bradley Cooper Is Not Lucifer, and Tom Hardy Plays Bare-assed Paintball

- Happy Birthday to Liam McIntyre (above), who turned 30 yesterday, Avon Jogia is 20, Mia Farrow is 67, Jim J. Bullock is 57, the FABOO Judith Light is 63, Holly Johnson is 52, and Carole King is 70. Time to name your top five Carole songs! Here are mine: 5. "You've Got A Friend," 4. Sweet Season," 3. "So Far Away," 2. "Jazzman," 1." It's Too Late."
- If it wasn't before, NBC's pilot The New Normal just became a must-see. The faboo Ellen Barkin has joined the cast of the "heartwarming comedy about a blended family of a gay couple, with Andrew Rannells playing one of the guys, and the woman who becomes a surrogate to help them start a family. Barkin will play the splashy role of the surrogate’s mother."
- Oprah’s Oscar Special will air on February 15 on OWN, and feature Winfrey interviewing three of this year’s Academy Award-nominated actors: Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Jonah Hill.
- The big-screen adaptation of John Milton's Paradise Lost has been scrapped. Bradley Cooper had been set to star as Lucifer, and now we'll never get to see him in a red bodysuit with horns. Damn, and this was the only Milton/Bradley movie I was looking forward to seeing. Yes, I went there.
- Morgan Freeman will join Tom Cruise in Oblivion, about "the last man on a post-apocalyptic and nearly uninhabitable Earth, who stays behind to repair ships that hunt down and blast a virulent alien species."
- Below you can see an ugly smear by an ugly smear.
- Below you can see a first look at the return of Gethin Anthony as Renly Baratheon from Season Two of Game Of Thrones, which premieres April 1st on HBO.

- If you've ever doubted that Howard Stern is an ally, listen to this.
- Naomi Watts will play Princess Diana in the film Caught In Flight, about the last two years of Diana's life.
- Below you can see characters from a famous TV show. Can you name it? (thanks to David in VA for the suggestion)
