AfterElton Briefs: Van Hansis Explains, Double the Adam, Stevie Nicks Has a "Secret Love," and More!

  • Brothers & Sisters returns with a new episode on Sunday, and judging by the above pic, Saul and Scotty have somehow ended up ... in prison! Join me Sunday night at 10 PM EST when we'll liveblog to find out the truth!
  • BBC America is running Torchwood  weekdays at 3 PM EST, and starting today is the ... somewhat ... controversial mini-series "Children of Earth." If you haven't seen it, and want to find out what the hubbub was all about (and believe me, there was HUB-BUB), then now is your chance.
  • Adam Lambert and his haunted pompadour were on The Talk yesterday, and afterward took Twitter questions from fans.

  • Yesterday NBC released their list of pilots for next season, and today it was ABC's turn. They've officially given the go-ahead to the reboot of Charlie's Angels, as well as that horrible-sounding "straight guys in drag" comedy Work It. Also ordered are two shows with titles that may not last, Good Christian Bitches, and Don't Trust The Bitch in Apartment 23.
  • Below you can see a sneak peek at Monday's RuPaul's Drag race, as the queens try to rule the red carpet.

  • Yesterday I mentioned that Van Hansis had not entered his name for Daytime Emmy recognition, and LoveLure has more info as to the reason why. After being deluged with questions on his FB page, Van responded with this heartfelt message.

  • I may think their show leaves a lot to be desired, but there's no questioning the hearts of the ladies of Hot in Cleveland. I know everyone is questioning why Betty isn't included, but can't the lady take a day off?

  • Stevie Nicks will release her first solo album in ten years, "In Your Dreams" on May 3rd. The first single "Secret Love" is now available on iTunes, and speaking as an impartial observer, it KICKS ASS!

  • Finally, You already saw Adam taking Twitter questions, and below you can see him perform a slow version of "Whataya Want From Me" on today's Ellen. He sings it splendidly, and I think is at his best when he turns the volume down a bit.

And today's Briefs are brought to you by...
