AfterElton Briefs: "Milli Vanilli: The Motion Picture," Who Wants Russell Tovey's Doodle, The Worst Place To Be Gay, and More!
Here's last week's caption pic winner. This week's caption pic is at the bottom of the page.

Thanks to everyone for participating! The winner is ...
"The new Riddler costume for the next Batman movie had people asking "Why ?""
Thanks to Campion for this week's winning caption.

Elton John and David Furnish attend the premiere of Gnomeo and Juliet in London.
- The Daily Beast has an article about the alleged mixed signals that Sarah Palin is sending to the gay community.
- Groupon has decided to pull those controversial Superbowl ads.
- Blabbeando reports that a state-sponsored Cuban television channel is showing weekly episodes from the first season of Glee, and he offers up a Spanish-dubbed clip from Mexican TV (hearing Kurt's dubbed voice is a hoot).
- Below you can see Ricky Martin perform his classic "Cup of Life" on today's Ellen.
- Plans are underway for a big-screen biopic of 80's rags-to riches-to rags pop duo Milli Vanilli.
- Feeling romantic? Give someone a George lovebite from Being Human.

- Speaking of Russell Tovey, bidding is now underway for a signed self-portrait doodle for charity. I love that he knows how popular his ears are.
- I can admit when I'm wrong. Like many people, I used to mercilessly mock those Twilight movies. But now someone has shown me the error of my ways. I will embrace these films, for not only do they provide inspiration for greatness, but they are truly ... faboo.
- Out British DJ and TV presenter Scott Mills went to Uganda to film the first part of a BBC series titled The World's Worst Place To Be Gay?, and he recounts a harrowing moment when he had to flee to keep from being arrested. Below you can see a portion of that special, in which he receives a special treatment to try to turn him straight.
- Damn! It looks like we missed a great party! And those "Our Gays are More Macho than their Straights" stickers are pretty much what I expected their idea of humor to be.
- James Franco is apparently in talks to play Kaneda in the live action big-screen version of the classic anime Akira.
- Finally, below you can see Michael Urie appearing as Prior Walter in Signature Theatre Company's production of Angels in America. The show is currently scheduled to run through March 27, 2011. (photo credit - Joan Marcus)
