AfterElton Briefs: Zach Wahls Chats With Ellen, "Firefly" Returns, Ryan Murphy's "American Horror Story," and More!

Lady Gaga as a ... Playtex Living Glove?

  • Ryan Murphy is returning to FX (where he worked for seven years on Nip/Tuck) with the pilot American Horror Story, but he wants everyone to know that it won't mean he'll be paying less attention to Glee.
  • AE fav Eddie McClintock will have to share hunk duties on the next season of Syfy's Warehouse 13. Actor Aaron Ashmore will join the cast as a "young ATF agent with an ability to tell when somebody is lying." So he's ... Counselor Troi?
  • Speaking of science fiction favorites, cult show Firefly will return to basic cable next month. The Science Channel will rebroadcast all of the original episodes, in the correct order, and in high def, with an appearance at the end of each show by physicist Dr. Michio Kaku, who will "discuss the theoretical science behind the show’s sci-fi concepts."
  • Keeping in the sci-fi vein, Sigourney Weaver is a guest on The Graham Norton Show Saturday, and below you can see her help recreate the famous "gut buster" scene from Alien. Along for the ride are hottie physicist Brian Cox and unsuspecting comedian Sandy Toksvig.

  • Below you can see Iowa teen Zach Wahls on today's Ellen recounting the passionate speech he gave about marriage equality. Hopefully, this is the future of our world.

  • After working with GLAAD and other GLBT organizations, Facebook has added "In a Civil Union" and "In a Domestic Partnership" options to user profiles. The option is now available for users in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, France and Australia.
  • Logo (our parent company) has launched “beCause,” its first ever pro-social initiative focusing on self-respect and empowerment issues for the GLBT community and their allies.
  • Aisha Tyler and Amber Rose guest star on Monday's episode of RuPaul's Drag Race, and below you can see the long-awaited return of "Snatch Game!" I have to admit to laughing out loud at the sight of Stacey Layne Matthews as Mo'Nique

And today's Briefs are brought to you by...
