AfterElton Briefs: Darren Criss on "Ellen," Chris Colfer on Kurt's Return to McKinley, Happy Birthday Barbra, and More!

Here's last week's caption pic winner. This week's caption pic is at the bottom of the page.

Thanks to everyone for participating! The winner is ...

"Cinemax presents: Smile Time After Dark."

Thanks to John for this week's winning caption.

  • This weekend is Barbra Streisand's 69th birthday. You know what that means ... time to name your top 5 Barbra songs! I'll start things off: 5. "Somewhere," 4. "The Way He Makes Me Feel," 3. "Woman in Love," 2. "No More Tears (Enough is Enough," and my all-time favorite Barbra song, which is also one of my all-time favorite songs, period - "Prisoner (Theme from The Eyes of Laura Mars)".

  • Oprah has taken to video to explain why she can't save All My Children and One Life To Live. Basically, soaps are dead, and she needs the OWN timelsots for uplifting crap.
  • Towleroad has the viral video of marines in Afghanistan dancing and lip-synching to Britney's "Hold it Against Me." Britney loved it, as she knows how difficult it is to dance and lip-sync to that song.

  • Below you can see another sneak peek at Monday's RuPaul's Drag Race grand finale. It appears that nerves are getting the best of the dolls.

  • Speaking of, below you can see Darren Criss and The Warblers perform "Teenage Dream" on Ellen, then Darren talks about going on tour and being half naked at Coachella.

  • Below you can see the latest webisode of Then We Got Help, which involves squeaky bats, and the perils of using too much hand lotion.

  • Finally, another icon is celebrating a birthday this weekend. John Waters turns 65, so let's end with another survey. What are your top three J.W. movies? For me, #3 would be the original Hairspray, followed by Desperate Living, and his greatest film? Female Trouble! "The world of the heterosexual is a sick and boring life."

And today's Briefs are brought to you by...

Here's your caption pic for the week. Drop your caption ideas in the comments (And please remember to keep the captions PG-13!)
