• The next issue of New York's Next Magazine is imagining the gay New York of their wildest fantasies, and that includes a gay mayor. Hence the cover art of Mike Bloomberg as an overage (aren't so many of them) circuit boy.

• Good News in the Heartland! Omaha Ministers "fed up with popular notion that the Christian point of view is anti-gay" sign a proclamation apologizing to gay community and reaching out to them.

• Oy vey! The premier of A-List: New York fast approaches (July 25th) and just out is this teaser trailer to get you in the mood. Does the cast look any classier in black and white?

• Betty White dropped by David Letterman's show to give her top ten tips on living a long life. Anthony Wiener should've heard this a couple of months ago.
• Megan Mullally is going to be a guest judge on this week's So You Think You Can Dance. Imagine how much fun a drunk Karen Walker accompanied by Jack from Will & Grace would be as guest judges!
• Tonight at 10 PM PBS airs Two Spirits, a true and tragic story of a hate crim committed against Fred, a Navajo two spirit who was brutally murdered.
• Not sure how we we missed this, but yesterday was the 30th birthday of Chris Evans aka Captain America. He celebrated by whipping his shirt off and dancing. Or did we just imagine that...? We do know GQ just drooled all over him in the latest issue.

Give him a break! He's thirty now...


• The video game XCOM is a year from being released, but word is already out that it's going to have a fairly significant gay character. And since it's set in the 1960s, the character's sexuality is going to be an issue and part of the game. Cool!
• At the rate HBO is going, they're going to release the entire first episode of True Blood by the time it actually airs. You can now watch up to eight minutes of the first episode, which I hereby dub "When Faeries Go Bad: The Revenge of the Faery Queen." The link also has new cast portraits, including this one of Lafayette.
