  • Oh jeez. A man's bank card was canceled over the phone because the agent didn't believe his high voice was a man's, and thought he was an impostor. "This [agent] decided that I was a woman and didn’t ask any questions and canceled everything on me." He was eventually given an apology by the bank for the "bad service."
  • Just a reminder to tune in to Logo (our parent company) tonight at 11 PM EST for a special live episode of 1 girl, 5 gays 1 girl, 18 gays.
  • Hey, If I have to suffer through it, so do you. You're welcome.

  • After huge ratings for the finale, NBC has confirmed that all four judges will return for Season Two of The Voice (perhaps after a stint in Twitter rehab).
  • MSNBC has suspended Morning Joe contributor and Time editor Mark Halperin for calling President Obama a "dick" live on air. You can see the cringe-inducing moment below (and the stupidity of the name calling aside, they did tell him it would be bleeped).

  • Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been released from the hospital for what was originally called a suicide attempt, and is now being referred to as a drug relapse.
  • Kudos once again to MSNBC's Thomas Roberts, who regularly brings GLBT stories to daytime TV. Below you can see him discuss Michele Bachmann's husband Marcus, who believes that gays are "barbarians" who need to be educated and disciplined. Most comments I"ve seen about Marcus use the words "George Rekers, Part Two" or "future widestancer," but I won't go down that road. That's why I have you.

  • Speaking of MSNBC, below you can see Tamryn Hall and Michael Smerconish discuss the "what defines gay" argument when it comes to gay sports league. It's a complicated issue that is now being taken to court.
