  • Above you can see the cover of the upcoming Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #15 that's been making rounds on gay blogs today. Why? Because of the hot gay couple about to kiss on the far right-side of the cover. It's sweet, but check out the glaring difference between that and the cover that's running in Marvel Previews magazine.

  • I know, I know, my hackles were raised too. But it turns out the censoring may have been inadverdent. Damn! Now what am I supposed to do with my hackles?
  • Andy Denhart has a great piece in Reality Blurred about Nigel Lythgoe making more tiresome remarks about masculinity on So You Think You Can Dance. After dancer Billy Bell was eliminated, Nigel commented that viewers might not have liked his slightly androgynous style, and later tweeted that his remark was not homophobic, and “It’s an easy label to paste on anybody who strives to have their male dancers be strong and masculine." So Nigel, why do you even allow the "less-masculine" dancers to compete, if they don't stand a chance with you?

  • The Spurf sat down for a chat with the stars of Spartacus (including a cancer-free Andy Whitfield) about the sexual situations on the show, and Lucy Lawless presented him with a very ... special gift.
  • Out Precious director Lee Daniels will re-wite and direct The Butler, which "follows Eugene Allen, a servant in the White House who worked for eight presidents over the course of more than 34 years, including during the age of racial segregation."
  • Rupert Everett is worried he's becoming an alcoholic and has brain disease from drug use. Jeez, take a pill. Um , I mean ... chill out.
  • Below you can see Lady Gaga on the cover of the UK Vanity Fair. It's strange seeing her so ... unadorned.
