• Just in case any of you True Blood fans were honestly afraid the blockbuster show wouldn't be renewed for another season, you can rest easy now - the residents of Bon Temps are officially on tap to return for more supernatural mayhem in Season 5. No, Mehcad Brooks won't be returning as Eggs, but since when do we need an excuse to throw up a shirtless pic of him? Never, that's when.

• In other TV news, George R.R. Martin, the author of the book series Game of Thrones is based on, claimed to AOL that he's received letters from some of the show's gay fans asking for more erect penises on the show. Can I put in a specific request for Kit Harington's please?

• Now that I'm all hot and bothered, what better way to cool down than with ice queen extraordinaire Michele Bachmann, who last week cut off an interviewer attempting to bring up gay marriage by calling the issue "frivolous". Well, gay comedian Jim David wasn't too happy about it, and he's written an excellent takedown of the Republican presidential candidate (and possible harbinger of the apocalypse) over at the Huffington Post.

• Former Will Truman boyfriend Bobby Cannavale (aka Officer Vince D'Angelo) is joining the cast of the Edie Falco Showtime series Nurse Jackiefor its fourth season. The sexy Emmy winner will star in all ten episodes as a financially-focused hospital administrator who the official press release promises will "shake things up" at All Saint's.

• Jen Yamato at Movieline isn't a big fan of Glee: The 3D Concert Movie, saying in her review that the film "deserves a slushie to the face." Ouch. Gleeks can go vent their rage in the Movieline comments section if they feel the urge.

• Gay Robert Pattinson fans everywhere will be happy to know that the Twilight star is officially a pillow biter - well ok, his character anyway. In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, the star talks to the mag about filming the Edward and Bella sex scene, in which vampire Edward apparently "ruins" the bed to distract from the urge to kill his newly betrothed. Aww!

• In other Twilight news, Wolf Pack member Kiowa Gordon ("Embry Call") is in a bit of a hairy situation with the law after being arrested for failure to appear on a misdeamanor DUI and drug charge from 2010. The 21-year-old actor was picked up in Mesa, AZ on an active warrant and was later released after posting $1,000 bail.
