  • At last year's U.S. Open I called out former tennis bad-boy now TV commentator Brad Gilbert for his idiotic ramblings about "fruity-looking clothes." Today I was enjoying the Toronto tournament on ESPN 2 when Brad again became verklempt, this time because Roger Federbear had the audacity to wear a ... pink shirt. I guess Brad just can't handle confident men.
  • Below you can see Ryan Murphy finally confirm that he is going to be helming the long-overdue big-screen adaptation of Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart (starring Mark Ruffalo.) What about directing Wicked? He remains cagey.

  • Papermag writes about the new play Veritas, which is about Harvard's secret gay witch hunt of 1920, which led to 2 suicides and 14 expulsions.
  • Queers4Gears informs us that Victor Gonzalez Jr. is the first driver from Puerto Rico to ever compete in Nascar, and at last week's race in Watkins Glen his car was sponsored by The Ricky Martin Foundation.

  • Ed sent all of us in the office this cover for the Glee comic book, and each of us had our own take. Mine is that it's some sort of bizarre Glee/Leave it to Beaver hybrid, with Matthew as Eddie Haskell and Chris as Mrs. Cleaver, without the pearls.

  • Finally, below you can see Spartacus star Andy Whitfield (who's looking absurdly hot post-cancer) and Asian Wong (which is hilarious) star in a live-action version of the FPS classic Time Crisis. They get everything right, from the imbecilic civilians you have to rescue, to the way you have to empty your gun before you can reload it.
