Weekend Birthdays - Mario Lopez turns 37, and Matt Damon turns 40

• OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills debuts next week on Bravo, and two of the wives are sisters Kim Richards and Kyle Richards. Kim Richards, people! The Dakota Fanning of the 70's! Escape To Witch Mountain, Tuff Turf, Devil Dog: Hound of Hell, Hello Larry, and an episode of every TV show of the late 70's and early 80's. And her sister Kyle was the little girl in the original Halloween and starred in the Bette Davis classic Watcher in the Woods. Below you can see Kim re-introduce herself.

• Sir Elton believes that the title track to Lagy Gaga's upcoming album Born This Way will "completely get rid of Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive.’ This is the new ‘I Will Survive.’ That was the gay anthem. This is the new gay anthem. Actually, it’s not a gay anthem - it can apply to anybody.”

• Another week, another Life is Beautiful controversy. Now they want to keep the show from prison inmates for "fear that the portrayed gay relationship in the show would negatively affect prisoners."

• Dan Savage talks about being overwhelmed by the response to "It Gets Better," and the growing pains the official site has encountered.

• Speaking of which, below you can see one of my favorite "It Gets Better" clips, from a man named Stephen who shares his life story. But what I really love about it is his son Devon, who's one of the most adorable tykes I've seen in a while. Like any toddler, Devon is impressively bored by the grown-up, but at 3:40 in the clip he manages to steal the show.

• When Rugger God Ben Cohen released his calendar last year, I went all Grease 2 "Man For All Seasons" with it.. But I'm going to compose myself this year, and casually mention that Ben's 2011 calendar is now on sale.

"Whoa!" "September?" "Yep" "I'm surprised you were able to walk in October!"

• Go for it, generic kitty! My cat would never win. She only likes to sit on three things; my DVR, my keyboard, and my neck (when she wants me to wake up).

• The President of Rutgers University has decided that they did everything they could have done to help Tyler Clementi. "I believe that we did all we could and we did the right thing." Well, that settles that, then.

• Joy Behar was chatting with Modern Family star Julie Bowen when the subject of the "gay kiss" came up. Below you can see Julie's reaction to the controversy.
