AfterElton Briefs: Horror In Scotland, "Once Upon A Time"'s Fairytale Ratings, Joss Whedon's "Much Ado About Nothing," and More!

  • Birthday shoutouts! B.D. Wong (above) is 51, Kevin Kline is 64, Zac Posen is 31, and the faboo Casey Wilson is 31.
  • I hate to start off with bad news, but this story is too horrifying to be ignored. The body of Stuart Walker was found Saturday in Ayrshire, Scotland. He had been beaten, tied to a lamppost, and burned alive.

  • I know that when tragedies like this happen, there will always be people on social media who will fan the flames, but this f**kwit has taken it to a new level. If you scroll down his Twitter page, you'll see comments that are vile and disgusting, and ... frightening. I'm hoping someone can find out where this guy works and let his bosses know what kind of person they've employed.
  • In ratings news, the premiere of the much-buzzed-about new Kelsey Grammar STARZ drama Boss was mediocre, drawing in far fewer viewers than the premieres of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, Camelot and Torchwood: Miracle Day.
  • The news was much better for ABC's Once Upon A Time, which is the network's highest rated debut of the fall, and the season’s No. 1 drama debut in 18-49 on any network.
  • The smart and funny Aisha Tyler has decided to slum it as one of the new permanent co-hosts of The Talk, which has become completely unwatchable in its second season.
  • Principal photography ended today on Joss Whedon's version of Much Ado About Nothing, which has a nerdsplosion cast.

  • Below you can see Sean Hayes chug a manly Dr. Pepper and talk to Ellen about his mother's prosthetic eye.
