AfterElton Briefs: "What Would You Do" Takes on Gay Bullying, Ryan Kwanten is Charles Manson, and Yigit, Yigit, and More Yigit!

Here's last week's caption pic winner. This week's caption pic is at the bottom of the page.

Thanks to everyone for participating! And the winner (because that Ken doll does bear a striking resemblance) is ...

"Tonight on a shocking 90210, Teddy's secret is revealed!"

Thanks to FakeName for this week's winning caption.

Happy Birthday to Matthew Morrison, who turns 32 this weekend.

  • Just a heads up - this portion of the briefs is devoted to out Top Chef: Just Desserts contestant Yigit Pura, who's become the breakout star of this season. First up, his "It Gets Better" video. I love "rainbows exploded all around me." I'm so stealing that.

  • Below you can see a preview of next week's episode. Face hugger ... I mean face maker Danielle is gloating about Heather's dismissal from the show, while Yigit is still devastated. He so needs a hug.

  • Finally, here's Yigit on a beach. When you're finished gawking, join me below.

  • Okay, in other news ... hey! Eyes down here! Okay, one more peek at Yigit. Anyway, RCA Records will release the soundtrack to Burlesque on November 22. In addition to all of Xtina's songs, it will feature two songs from Cher, one of which is a power balled titled "You Haven't Seen The Last of Me," written by Diane Warren (who's one of the most successful pop songwriters ever).
  • Malaysian censors have one rule in place if filmmakers want to show gays in films: the gay characters have to repent or show remorse for their sexuality. This is bad news for the producers of the gay-themed Dalam Botol, which is being referred to as the Malaysian Brokeback Mountain. Will they be able to get around the censors? Maybe they should rent The Celluloid Closet to find out how filmmakers got around The Hayes Code.
  • Below you can see Stephen Colbert talk about tomorrow's game-changing Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear, and he prepares by confronting five of his greatest fears, including a "gay guy." (who happens to be the editor of Out). Somehow Neil Patrick Harris is brought up.

  • True Blood star Ryan Kwanten is set to play Charles Manson in the upcoming film The Family. This will not do. I do not want to turned on by Charles Manson.
  • Please tune into ABC's What Would You Do tonight at 10PM EST as the hidden camera show catches people's reactions to a gay kid being bullied. You can see a sneak peek below, as one man decides to intervene.

  • To end on a happy note, The A-List: New York's adorable Rodiney has released his own calendar. On a side note, Reichen is an idiot.

And today's Briefs are brought to you by...

Here's your caption pic for the week. Drop your caption ideas in the comments (And please remember to keep the captions PG-13!)
