AfterElton Briefs: Previewing the "Just Desserts" Finale, Sex with "Attitude," Ellen Chats with Mike O'Malley, and More!

Pink sneakers? How gauche.

  • Above you can see the cover for Attitude's December issue, which is all about S-E-X. I recognize a couple of the adult film stars, and I'm sure I'll see many of the others on upcoming seasons of Big Brother and The Real World.
  • The day after giving The Walking Dead a second season, AMC has canceled Rubicon. I only watched one episode of the show (to see Scott Evans) but it seemed a lot more interesting than the usual network glut of procedurals.
  • Below you can see Ellen chat with Mike O'Malley about why his Glee dad is such an important character, and why he required no makeup to do the heart attack scene.

  • The Emery Awards were held last night to commend those who provide "a safe and supportive environment for all young people - regardless of their sexual orientation or identity." Glee's Ryan Murphy was the guest of honor, and among the attendees was Cheyenne Jackson, who took time to reminisce about his younger days.

  • German footballer Mario Gomez is urging gay players to come out, saying "They would play as if they had been liberated. Being gay should no longer be a taboo topic." More like him, please!
  • Marie Osmond appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show today and denied speculation that her son Michael killed himself because he was struggling with his sexuality. "And it wouldn't matter if he was. I have a daughter who is gay, and it was my daughter who was offended by it, like, 'What? All gay kids commit suicide?' She really wanted it cleared up."
  • Below you can see the fabulously named Rev. Lorelei Starbuck on Cragslist TV. She married over 600 same-sex couples in 2008 before Prop. 8 restricted marriage to only "a man and a woman," but since Prop. 8 was ruled unconstitutional earlier this year, she's again posting on Craigslist offering her services to same-sex couples looking to wed.

  • Below you can see a sneak peek at the new music video from out singer/songwriter Tom Goss. The full length version of "Lover" will be released on Thursday, November 18, and judging by the preview, it looks to be can't miss.

  • Finally, below you can see a sneak peek at next week's season finale of Top Chef: Just Desserts, which features a shirtless Yigit as well as ... oh, who cares what else it has. A shirtless Yigit!
