AfterElton Briefs: Livestreaming the "Burlesque" Premiere, "Rent" Revived, Scotty's Side Dish, and More!

- Dunno Y...Na Jaane Kyun opened in India last Friday, but according to star Kapil Sharma, many theaters are refusing to show it. "They told our distributors that ours is a gay film and their theaters are meant for family audiences. They don't want to entertain a film with gay content." Hmm ... sounds vaguely familiar.
- Newsweek has an eye-rolling puff piece on NOM asshat Brian Brown. Amazingly, it was not written by Ramin Setoodeh.
- Below you can see Andy Cohen, Molly Shannon and Kristin Chenoweth in another episode of "Housewives Playhouse" from last night's Watch What Happens Live.
- Rent will return to off-Broadway next June with original director Michael Greif and a brand new cast.
- Bill Clinton is shooting a cameo for The Hangover 2, which is filming in Bangkok. This should be interesting, but I'm not sure the former President gets his kicks above the waistline, sunshine.
Even hungover and bleary-eyed he's still hot as hell
- In case you haven't seen it, Brothers & Sisters characterScotty (Luke Macfarlane) has his own blog called "Side Dish" in which he shares recipes and chats about his life with the Walker clan.
- Queers4Gears.com creator Michael Myers is profiled in The New York Times about catching flak from his gay friends for being a Nascar fan.
- Below you can see a preview from tonight's The Joy Behar Show, with Jesse Tyler Ferguson talking about that new study showing that Modern Family viewers tend to skew Republican.
- Tonight is the Burlesque world premiere, and you can tune in to a livestream at 9:30 PM EST to see the celebrities hit the red carpet in Hollywood, followed by clips from the film!
- Towleroad has a detailed report on the thirteen veterans and advocates for repeal of DADT (including Dan Choi) who chained themselves to the White House fence today.

- The New York Times profiles Fredrik Eklund, who went from gay adult entertainment star (as Tag Ericksson) to a New York City real estate mogul. He's also in talks with Bravo to star in a reality show about brokers. Of course he is.
