AfterElton Briefs: NPH Loves "Company," Billboard's Artists of the Year, the Cast of Bravo's "A-List" Knockoff, and More!

Here's last week's caption pic winner. This week's caption pic is at the bottom of the page.

Thanks to everyone for participating! Wow, who knew that man/cat love would cause this reaction! So many great captions, but the winner is ...

"Today, on 'Nine Lives to Live' ... Sam and Leo try to sort out their relationship, which Leo left in tatters. Along with the drapes."

Thanks to RikiTT for this week's winning caption.

Take a moment to remember Brandon Teena, who would have turned 38 this weekend.

  • Apparently, scientists have discovered how to breed mice with two fathers. They say that the technology could one day be used to allow gay male couples the chance to have children with genes from both men.
  • From the spoiler room: Sunday's holiday episode of Brothers & Sisters will no doubt offer the usual Walker insanity, as well as something truly disturbing. Kevin with a ... mustache. Join us for the merry liveblog fun Sunday at 10 PM EST.
  • In still other TV news, Dallas Roberts will return as Alicia's gay brother Owen on the December 14th episode of The Good Wife.

From bottom to top, I mean left to right, interior designer Jordan Carlyle, book publicist Kenneth Gillett, and Jordan's boyfriend, model Christopher Fawcett.

  • Billboard Magazine was my bible growing up, but unfortunately I abandoned it years ago when pop music started to stink. But I always look at the Billboard year-end charts to see what the kids are listening to these days. Lady Gaga is the artist of the year (yay!), followed by Girl Who Crimps Her Hair, Peanut M&M, Girl And Two Hot Guys, Girl Who Always Looks Wasted, Guy From Moesha, Horrible Shriek Machine, Anti - Christ, Girl Who Wears Terrible Wigs, and That Guy Who Looks Like That One Kid From Degrassi.
  • Below you can see Rachel Maddow talk with writer Jeff Sharlet about the American supporters of the Ugandan "kill the gays" bill.

  • Neil Patrick Harris will star next April in a production of Stephen Sondheim's musical Company, as straight swinging single Bobby. Uh-Oh! Don't tell Ramin Setoodah!
  • Okay, we want your opinions of two videos. First up is a "Too Hot For TV" Virgin Mobile ad;

  • Next up is this article from Gay-Nerds.com about the game Heroes of Newerth. The makers of the game have released a collection of "announcer packs," which replace game sounds. One of the patches is called the "flamboyant pack," and ... you probably know where this is headed. The guys at Gay-Nerds have excised the sound effects, so take a listen and let us know what you think. I admit I cringed when I heard it, but a lot of the people leaving comments are willing to give the company the benefit of the doubt. Has anyone played this game? Is there any gay content?
  • Move over, David Beckham, there's a new stud signed to model men's underwear for Giorgio Armani. Rafael Nadal will be the new face and body of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans. Hopefully wedgie-proof.

Congrats to Roger Federer's pal Rafael!

And today's Briefs are brought to you by...
