Snicks
Contributing Editorsnicks started his showbiz career as lead singer in a Mr. Mister cover band, and became world-renowned for donning a sheer white bodysuit and performing aerial acrobatics during "Broken Wings."
Anyway, now snicks is a contributing editor at AfterElton. His chief priority is to try to sneak as many 80's references onto the site as possible.
And contrary to speculation, he was not the body double for Gilles Marini in Sex & The City.

Ed Kennedy
Contributing EditorEd grew up in the hills of West Virginia before he left to see the world in the Air Force only to make it as far as Virginia. He's since traveled the globe and lived a nomadic existence in D.C., San Diego, and Miami, cultivating his love of Muppets, bacon and chocolate, all while staying just ahead of a group of deadly assassin cats.
He's currently back in the hills of West Virginia, plugged into the Internet 24/7, wondering if his knees will allow him to snow ski again.

ContributorLyle was born and raised in Hawaii but ran off to California as soon as he had a chance. He then moved to New Mexico, something that usually inspires confused looks in people. He lives with his partner of eight years, who also grew up in Hawaii, leaving them room to bond over their shared reasons for getting away and marveling about all the events they both attended without ever meeting. Anthony D. Langford
ContributorWhile Anthony went to college to study Journalism and Creative Writing, he came out of it never expecting anyone would be crazy enough to pay him for his scribblings, especially about his passion for soap operas. He hopes the folks at AfterElton.com don’t realize they keep cutting him checks.
When he’s not working on the Langford on Soaps column or one his blogs keeping readers abreast of the latest developments on Emmerdale or Hollyoaks, he keeps himself busy writing his second novel. What happened to his first? Well, Anthony doesn’t like to talk about that.

Christie Keith
ContributorChristie Keith is a journalist who, many years ago, was blogging with Michael Jensen and Brent Hartinger on something called "The Big Gay Picture" when they lured her over to AfterElton with promises that she could write about Xena: Warrior Princess as much as she wanted as long as she interspersed it with long pictoral essays about guys kissing each other and having sex in the movies.
What lesbian could turn down an offer like that?

EmailTwitterArchiveProfile
When not working on his columns or plays, he can be seen scouring the Internet for tidbits about Lord of the Rings and pictures of Darren Criss shirtless.
If he wasn't so worried about being sued by the various people that he talks about in his columns, he would probably exist as more than a cartoon character on the Internet. -
Jamie Maurer
ContributorJamie is perhaps better known as Rantasmo, host of a video blog exploring the highs and lows of gay culture. He currently lives in Michigan and spends a great deal of time talking about geeky, weird, or incredibly obscure things.

He is a writer, a fan of happy movies and a sworn enemy of the fundamentalist right wing. Art Reker
ContributorHeralded as "the greatest writer in the world named Art Reker," he fell in love with pop culture when Ginger Rogers performed "Hello Dolly" in his little town. Late at night, as the lonesome sound of the train whistle recedes, he dreams of running away and joining a gay organization like the Republicans.EmailTwitterArchiveProfile -
