Meet Your Gay of the Week for the week of February 18, 2011

It's been quite a journey for 90210's Teddy Montgomery, from the accident that put his tennis career on hold, to his surprise hook-up with Ian, coming out to his friends, and breaking up with his first boyfriend. Now he's taken the crown as your Gay of the Week!

While Teddy hasn't gotten tons of screen time, his story has been achingly heartfelt and moving, thanks to a powerful performance by Trevor Donovan. Whether he was struggling with his first visit to a gay bar, realizing how badly he wanted to be with Ian, or traveling through the TV landscape with Dumbledore's help, Donovan's performance has added layers to Teddy's story.

Now that Teddy is single and newly-out, we have the promise of a fresh beginning, a chance to meet someone new and watching him learn from making different relationship mistakes.

Teddy dominated some very active voting, earning 56% of your votes. Brothers & Sisters' Saul & Jonathan came in second with 24%. Southland police officer John Cooper came in third with 16% of the votes while The Good Wife's Owen Cavanaugh came in a distant fourth with 4%.
