Liveblogging "As The World Turns" : The Big Pink Elephant in the Room

Could it be? Luke and Reid actually discussing "IT?" And will actions speak louder than words?

Not likely.

Join us for the fun and refresh for updates!

2:05PM EST: Holden and Lily are still stuck in "Montreal" and can't get any help from the airport guy, who insists on referring to the airplane as a "bird." UGH! Of all days to run afowl of a turkey.

Lily offers to give the guy "something valuable" and starts to take off her dress! Oh wait, she was just unfastening her diamond necklace. Phew! Actually her other "something valuable" has, well, let's just say it's many users over the years have ... depreciated the value.

2:15PM EST: Carly calls all the children down from upstairs (where presumably they were carrying on the Snyder Family tradition of jumping on Luke's bed), but Carly snaps her ankle in half. Is it bad that I immediately thought of Patsy on AbFab, snapping hers trying to fit it into a Jimmy Choo?

Luke calls on Reid, who has his mouth full of Lorna Doone, but mumbles "it looks fine to me." Carly says "what do you know? This is an ankle injury, not brain surgery!"

Abigail and Molly have a heart to heart while Jack whisks Carly away to the hospital. This is as exciting as it sounds.

2:25PM EST: Blackthorn arrives to meet with Lucinda. I can't believe they really called him "Blackthorn"? Seriously? Why not "Evilheart", or "Limbaugh"? Lucinda tells him that Phase One of "Meddling in my daughter's life yet again so she'll never be able to carry on a stable relationship with anyone" is complete, so now it's Phase 2, which is presumably "pin her mittens to her coat so she doesn't lose them."

Holden finally arrives back at the farm to see Molly in her MILF uniform. He wants to know why she isn't at the wedding, and she says "there's not going to be a wedding."

2:35PM EST: Molly explains that she can't marry Holden because she knows Lily will always come first. Holden says "give me chance to make it up." C'mon, Molly, I predicted two weeks ... don't let me down.

Luke tells the kids that the wedding has been called off, and watches as Reid struggles to hold on a conversation with the littlest ones. it's adorable and funny, and I'm sure Luke and Reid will make great parents. Or .... would have.

Lucinda tells Lily that the wedding has been called off, and then drags her into the bathroom with some Ajax and a scouring pad, explaining "I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt!"

2:45PM EST: Lucinda tries to explain herself to Lily, but I'm too busy gawking at her necklace, which I think she stole from The Mighty Isis. I would give anything to hear Lucinda spread her arms and call out "Oh Zephyr Winds Which Blow On High, Lift Me Now So I Can Fly!"

Damn, it's official. Molden never made it to the altar.

Here we go! Luke and Reid are in the bridal suite, and Reid hints that he wants to make use of it. Luke commends Reid for not assaulting anyone, or bellowing at the kids, but when Reid moves in for a kiss, Luke moves his head. Oh jeez.

2:55PM EST: Reid becomes Cold Reid again, and Luke says "don't do this!" Excuse me? Reid says "don't do what? Pull away? Like you just did?" Luke explains that he isn't ready for a more physical relationship, implying that Noah was such a stud, no one will ever compare. He then plants what is admittedly one of the hottest kisses he's ever given on Reid, saying "does that buy me time?"

Lily and Holden, Molly blah blah, let's get back to LuRe. What do we make of this? I'm getting the dire feeling that Luke and Reid will never hit the sheets, especially given the imminent return of Noah.

Preview Time: Join us Friday when Reid learns some health news about Chris. It's starting ...
