Liveblogging "Brothers & Sisters": "Call Mom"

Kevin is neglecting Scotty, while Nora wants to be On The Radio, whoa oh oh oh, On The Radio, whoa oh oh oh, On The Radio, Radio, Radio.

10:05PM EST: Sarah is making the bed when Luc comes out of the bathroom. The camera pans up his body slowly enough that we find out that Gilles Marini dresses to the right, which in French is "gaine la saucisse" ... If my half semester of high school French is right.

Sarah takes one look at her tasty little Frenchman and her gears start grinding. She approaches Luc and says "you know, I don't really have anything to do this morning," and reaches out to touch him. Luc pulls away, horrified. You know ... when your older girlfriend is already having self esteem issues about being with you, you might want to keep your revulsion in check.

Oh, wait. It has nothing to do with Sarah, It's all about Luc's ... spray tan. He's auditioning for Riviera Shore, and we have to call him La Situation from now on.

Actually, he's tanning for a modeling gig. Well, if Luc ever wants to be an AfterElton.com Briefs Guy, he shouldn't overdo the fake tan. We prefer our guys natural ... and wearing tube socks. Actually, that's just my preference.

Sarah asks him if he wants to "do something" tonight, and he acts like she just asked him to empty the coffee grinds into the trash.

Nora is practicing for her "Dear Mom" radio audition. Before she leaves, she might want to do something with her "Homeless Snookie" hairdo.

Justin drops by to be annoying. Mission accomplished.

Kevin is getting ready for work and being all "Kevin," when a tired, just out of bed and hot as hell Scotty comes out in a tanktop. He tells Kevin that they never see each other and he misses him in bed. Kevin yadda-yaddas "But I'm Kevin, and it's all about me. I help people with my Kevin-ness and they don't appreciate it." Scotty brings up the subject of having a kid again, and Kevin dismisses the idea, because Kevin wouldn't have time to deal with a kid ... it's already too much giving Scotty attention.

Scotty begs Kevin to have a little slap and tickle tonight, but Kevin says "sorry, I'm asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow." I think that's what he said ... it was hard to tell what was going on with the foreshadow clouding the scene.

10:15PM EST: Jack and Kitty are having a heavy duty snogging session on the couch when Justin knocks on the door. He's here for a visit. Okay, does Justin actually do anything, or is it his job to be the show's official "awkward conversation starter?"

Kitty fumbles and mumbles and finally says "Jack and I were just about to ... take a speeding train through a tight tunnel .. I mean ride an elevator up the Washington Monument til we explode out of the top ... I mean ... make lunch."

Nora is meeting with the radio station manager about her possible new gig. She's excited until she learns that she might have to compete for it with Dr. Alex (played by Emmy and Tony winner Debra Monk).

Sarah and Scotty (who should have more scenes together) are in the restaurant and talking about Luc's spray tan. She tells him that Luc turned her down for sex, and Scotty says "it happens to every couple. It doesn't mean he's seeing someone else." Oh Scotty. Sarah flips out, but Scotty covers by saying "He, um, probably didn't want a spray tan streak on his moneymaker." Okay, Scotty didn't say that, but that's what I was imagining.

Jack and Justin are spending some quality time together in the kitchen. And I'm thinking very bad thoughts right now. Kitty ruins it, naturally ... by existing. She tells Justin that she and Jack are starting something, and he's surprisingly fine with it all. He excuses himself and leaves, because it's time to meddle in another storyline.
