King & Spalding dropped their contract to defend DOMA, saying the contract had not been sufficiently vetted. Then former Solicitor General Clement dropped King & Spalding so he could keep being on the wrong side of history.

Then the National Organization for Marriage calls the HRC despicable and hateful for calling out King & Spalding on the contract.

Proponents of Prop 8 have officially filed to have Judge Walker’s verdict vacated since he’s gay himself. Their logic seems fairly twisted, since women don’t recuse themselves from ruling on women’s rights cases. And they seem fixated on his ten-year relationship as the problem, since he might want to marry himself. I guess if he was bed hopping all over San Francisco it would be fine?

We know that Fox has found Larry (Sean Hayes) and Curley (Will Sasso) for their Three Stooges movie. Now it looks like they’re eyeing hunky Chris Diamantopoulos to play Moe. I don’t know how you make a man that sexy look like Moe.

Harvey Weinstein has bought distribution rights for the moving The Bully Project. I’m hoping he not only gets the film shown to a wider audience, but also does some educational outreach with it.

Paris Barclay is joining Sons of Anarchy as an executive producer and principle director. I guess that shatters some stereotypes about what shows a gay man of color might envision.  Now – can we get a gay biker?
