Barbara MacEwan, a 75-year-old Republican county clerk in New York says that she won't sign marriage certificates for gay couples, because she doesn't believe in it. She doesn't really have a choice because while the Marriage Equality Act contained sweeping exemptions for religious organizations, public employees just have to do their jobs.

After investigating the matter, Red Bull Racing Team terminated the contractor’s employment effective immediately. The race team regularly conducts diversity training and strictly enforces our team policies against any form of discrimination. We have zero tolerance for such violations and in no way support any of the comments posted by this individual." Employers, take note.
