Morning Meme:"Hung" Casts Transgender Client, "Billy Elliott" Scribe "Beached," Kathy Griffin Meets a Shirtless NKOTB

On the list of 10 Things You May Have Missed on TV This Week, #2 was Celebrity Rehab check-ins. Jeremy Jackson, who played Hobie Hobie and Hoffon Baywatch, went through some drug issues to become an athlete who has some steroid issues (it is Celebrity Rehab after all), and checks in with a complete water filtration system. When questioned why bottled water wouldn't work, he said the plastic had been linked to cancer … and bisexuality.

Because they never fail to cheer me up, here are a bunch of pictures of basset hounds running.

Harold Camping used his radio network to predict the end of the world in May, and some people nearly ended their lives because of it. Now there's a movement to have the FCC revoke his broadcast licenses. I'm somewhat torn on this, because of the obvious speech issues, but the airwaves are held in the public trust, and I'm not certain he deserves that trust.

GLAAD is accepting submissions for their annual Amplifier Awards for advertising.

I really don't care that some tabloid is trying to stir up rumors about Ashley Tisdale using Zac Efron for piggyback rides on the beach. I do care that there are new pictures of Zac Efron shirtless on the beach dripping wet.

Joey Chestnut won the Nathan's Hot Dog Contest again by downing 62 dogs in ten minutes and making me nauseous just writing about it.

Chord OverstreetI haven't posted an article that got as many comments as the Glee casting information in over a year. And there is a movement underway to get Chord reinstated/upgraded, though I think some of the tactics are counterproductive.

A Twitter account belonging to Fox News was hacked over the weekend and announced the assassination of President Obama, which stood for hours while law enforcement was notified.

WWE villain CM Punk was caught on camera shouting "You homo!" at a fan at an event in Australia. I'd normally go into a tirade about the WWE and their "partnership" with GLAAD to fight this sort of thing, but as CM Punk is a villain, I'm inclined to see if this plays out with some form of comeuppance. It wasn't a televised event, but it also wasn't a fan video that caught it – audio and image was excellent. So while CM Punk and WWE have apologized, it did fit the character. And I really liked CM Punk thanking TMZ for posting the video and calling him out.

Because we do like to educate, and this was one that I didn't know the answer to, here's an explanation as to how trick candles work.

There's video of the final Klaine sketch in Dublin, and it involves kissing from four separate characters, and Chris Colfer wearing some killer boots that I want for myself.Daniel Radcliffe

An opera by Billy Elliott writer Lee Hall has been canceled due to concern about a gay reference in the youth oriented production. One of the offending lines, in a scene that only had adults onstage, was "Of course I'm queer/ That's why I left here / So if you infer / That I prefer / A lad to a lass / And I'm working class / I'd have to concur."

It turns out that Daniel Radcliffe had a dark side that involved a lot of alcohol. But he's been completely sober since August, and feels lucky his wild days were never caught by the paparazzi. "As much as I would love to be a person that goes to parties and has a couple of drinks and has a nice time, that doesn't work for me. I do that very unsuccessfully. I'd just rather sit at home and read, or talk to somebody that makes me laugh. There's no shame in enjoying the quiet life. And that's been the realization of the past few years for me."

In ironic, if sad news, a man participating in a motorcycle ride to protest mandatory helmet laws died in a motorcycle accident due to head injuries.

Philadelphia's QFest kicks off this week with Judas Kiss and continues on for nearly two weeks of alternative cinema.

Nick AdamsSome lucky pup will have the pleasure of being cradled in Nick Adams' strong arms. And get your mind out of the gutter, because I'm talking about Broadway Barks!

Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon has grossed $400 million globally since opening, causing me to lose what little faith I have in humanity.

Hung is finally dipping its toes into GLBT waters this coming season, as Thomas Jane's gigolo character, up to now exclusively for the ladies born that way, is branching out. Pressured by the arrival of hot young stud Stephen Amell as competition, he'll reach out to a pre-op transgender client named Kyla, played by transgender actress Jamie Clayton.
