Morning Meme: Hunter Parrish Makes Bubble Boys Hot, Mark Valley Heads Back To Court and How Smurfs Move

I always felt just a little slimy for observing just how hot David Gallagher was on 7th Heaven as he grew up. Still, he's an adult now, and after David Gallaghera break out turn in Super 8, he's headed to Vampire Diaries to play a werewolf. That works, since he's been sporting a scruffy look lately.

Mitt Romney just became the first Republican presidential candidate to outright refuse to sign the controversial marriage pledge. He's currently tied for "least evil" on the Republican ticket.

Google is teasing a service called Photovine, which sounds like social networking for images. It's hard to describe, but seems perfect for the internet.

Mark Valley's jaw line is headed to Harry's Law, which I wish I watched, since Jean Smart is also joining the legal drama. The cast is amazing, I just can't take another legal show.

Speaking of legal shows I don't watch, Ted Danson is the new lead on CSI. While I never thought I could appreciate Ted Dansonhim in anything but comedy, he's really stretched as an actor.

Alan Grayson is going to run for Congress again, which should certainly make things more interesting on C-Span.

The photo agency that is licensing the images taken by a monkey probably picked the wrong blog to argue with about fair use and copyright law.

Well, this is awkward. The cast of Sister Wives is going to sue to overturn the polygamy statutes in Utah. Do we have to support that, since we support marriage equality? Do we have to denounce it since it's what the right says marriage equality leads to? And does it help to know that he doesn't want to legally marry the sister wives? Because the statute in Utah is so broad it basically covers polyamory, which is all he has – he's only legally married to one wife, but in Utah, having a husband or wife and knowingly cohabitating with another is what's against the law.

Paul Rudd is planning to star in a movie by This American Life's Ira Glass about TV repairman Robert Nelson, who Paul Ruddpioneered cryogenic technology in the 1960s. I wonder if Walt Disney makes an appearance?

Yet another band I don't know, My Morning Jacket, was recruited to play behind the curtain for a Muppet project as the Electric Mayhem Band. Sadly, it never went anywhere, nor did their music for The Muppets coming out later this year. So they've got a new album, and they also make an appearance on The Green Album (a Muppets tribute album) I mentioned a while back.

For reasons that aren't quite clear to me, President Obama is said to be "likely" to appeal the injunction against enforcement of Don't Ask, Don't Tell despite his work to repeal the statute. I have to think he's playing a game I don't understand.

In an article I wish I'd been paid to research, io9.com has compiled With Great Beefcake: The Complete Guide to Shirtlessness iScott Caan Alex O'Loughlinn Marvel Superhero Movies.

Juliette Lewis is joining the television adaptation of The Firm in Holly Hunter's old role. That should be interesting, especially if they have a musical episode.

I for one welcome our new computer overlords. Seriously, who thought it was a good idea to teach an artificial intelligence to play Civilization? Why not just teach it how to win at Thermonuclear War?

Is the bromance between Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan about to hit a speed bump on Hawaii Five-0?
