Morning Meme: LogoTV Is "Eating Out," "Harry Potter" Breaks Records, and Ogling Ryan Gosling's "Crazy, Stupid, Love"

Based entirely on a Twitter burst from the star, the blogosphere is buzzing with the concept of Cher basing a concert tour around Burlesque, Cher Burlesquewith songs from the movie and new material. Frankly, if it doesn't have Cam Gigandet's bare bottom, I'm not sure it will sell out.

In further fallout at News Corp., Rebekha Brooks resigned as head of News in the UK and has been arrested, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson has resigned, and the Wall Street Journal has written an editorial saying that the liberal media is overacting.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II looks to have raked in an astonishing $168.5 million domestically, and an additional $268 million globally for a $436 million weekend, blowing past every record in its path. It's on track to break Star Wars' record as the top grossing franchise of all time by the end of the week. The other major release, Winnie the Pooh, came in at $8 million for sixth place.

Rudy GiulianiFormer NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani told CNN "I think the Republican Party would be well advised to get the heck out of people's bedrooms and let these things get decided by states." But the prize goes to the CNN writer who paraphrased it as "former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said the Republican Party should butt out of the bedroom."

It's been widely reported that Trevor Donovan isn't returning to 90210 beyond a couple of episodes, but the new showrunners say that while he's not in every episode, that's been overblown. "I know there is sort of a technical difference in Trevor's deal but he's a major character for us. We love Teddy and we've got a really great story line for him. No, Teddy is the only one who won't be in every episode. The story line of Teddy being gay was handled so well last year, it was so much of a non-stereotype, that it was really important to us to keep writing for that character. We don't have it all broken out moving forward, but he has a really significant arc. He's in the premiere. That story [about Donovan's contract] was put out there like he wasn't coming back, or worse, like we were eliminating him, and that was not the intention at all."

Gene RobinsonBishop Gene Robinson dropped some great wisdom on his hometown this weekend, saying "I think Christians should stay away from spiritual arrogance and show more love, mercy and zeal for justice." Can I get an Amen?

After footballer Michael Irvin told Out that he wanted to "eradicate homophobia in every corner of American society," many are wondering just what the man Irvin describes as his "spiritual father," Bishop T.D. Jakes thinks. Jakes is head of a Dallas megachurch and has previously called homosexuality a "brokenness." Anthony Callean
