Morning Meme: Daniel Craig's Nightmare "Dream House, "X-Men" Tackles Gay Teen Suicide, and Eddie McClintock Talks About His Body

I'm not an expert on comics, but the fact that X-Men: Generation Hope is leapfrogging the whole mutants-as-gays metaphor and dealing X-Men Generation Hopedirectly with gay teen suicide seems incredibly important.

Three years after filming began, Joss Whedon's A Cabin in the Woods with Chris Hemsworth has a release date of April 13, 2012.

The nominees for the MTV Video Music Awards have been announced. Beyond Lady Gaga, I'm not seeing a lot of GLBT representation. I am seeing a lot of anti-gay representation, like Tyler The Creator, Eminem, and knowing I'll anger half the readers, Katy Perry and Nikki Minaj, who I think use and abuse the community.

When Prince William and Kate flew commercial (the horror!) from Los Angeles to London, the in flight entertainment system wasn't working, so they were offered vouchers for travel or $300 credit at duty free. Having evidently resolved to always fly private in the future, they took the shopping spree.

One New York Episcopal Bishop has ordered his gay clergy to get married now that it's legal, rather than continue to live in sin. I'm torn, because on the one hand, he's endorsing marriage equality, but on the other hand, he appears to be dictating relationships. And the immature part of me is laughing, because the wingnuts warned everyone that joustinggay marriage would be mandatory eventually, and suddenly, it is – by church decree!

It's more than well documented that I don't like reality television (some competition shows in small doses are fine). But I'm setting the DVR for the History Channel's Full Metal Jousting.

Jayma Mays knows that since every other heterosexual on Glee is sexually active, her virginity is obviously a target for the writers.

After a run on Bay area Comcast stations, Versus is set to air Out. The Glenn Burke Story nationally on August 9th.

Ryan Seacrest has decided to air a reality show following the wealthy young Persian-Americans of Los 90210 NavidAngeles. Shahs of Sunset will air on Bravo, which is now open for Seacrest to wrest control of from Andy Cohen, since NBCUniversal was acquired by Comcast.

If you're in Brooklyn, I'm jealous, because you can head over to the Museum of Moving Image for the Jim Henson's Fantastic World exhibit that runs through January. Who wouldn't want to see Miss Piggy in a wedding dress?

Amazon Prime has reached a deal to stream CBS shows online. Based on the list of shows, it look more like classic series than next-day like Hulu does with most networks. Except CBS.

Here are some more details on the 94-feet high, 188-foot wide steel and aluminum rainbow sculpture that Sony intends to erect on their lot to fulfill their public art mandate for new buildings.

Leisure DiveWe've had planking. Then came owling. Next was toothpicking. Evidently now the fashion among the eternally hip is the Leisure Dive.

My own Senator Rockefeller is calling for an investigation into the Dow Jones hiring of Les Hinton, who resigned from the Wall Street Journal in the wake of the phone hacking scandal rocking News Corp.

This is a fitness plan I could get behind.

In Vulture's ongoing nostalgia kick, they take a look at Dinosaurs, which evidently had a lot more social commentary going on than I gave it credit for, tackling the environment, homosexuality, puberty, divorce, fidelity and race. Mostly, I remember "Not the momma!" and "Kick the baby!"Eddie McClintock

Last season, when we were shamelessly objectifying Warehouse 13's Eddie McClintock, I remember him saying that he'd been called "average" on IMDB, which really upset him.  I tend to agree – if that was average, I'm going to go crawl into a cave for the rest of my life. But he's looking even more buff and beefy this season. All that remains is to get him and Jinks shirtless together for compare and contrast.

This speech, delivered in the Dáil in Ireland, is more critical of the Catholic Church than I thought you would ever hear there. Or anywhere.
