Morning Meme: "The Good Wife" Plays Matchmaker For Owen, "Magic Mike" Adds McConaughey, and "Purge The Urge" With Sean Lockhart

The Good Wife is upping the gay factor exponentially this season. Not only does it have Christine Baranski, who I dub an honorary gay man, Michael Ardenbisexual Alan Cumming, and Alicia's gay brother Owen (Dallas Roberts), now they've given Owen a boyfriend played by Michael Arden.  On top of all of that (not to mention Kalinda), Harvey Fierstein is joining the cast as a liberal judge to meddle in Alicia's cases.

As far as that news that Rep. Michele Bachmann would reinstate Don't Ask, Don't Tell? And we all wondered how that would work? Well, since Congress was sloppy with the repeal, it's really as easy as going back to old ban, pre-DADT, and can be done with an executive order, no law change needed. Of course, the military brass would probably counsel against the change, but I just don't see Bachmann listening to anyone.

Remember when Emma Stone was a contestant on VH1's In Search of The Partridge Family? Me either. But the girl had the magnetism even back then.

There's something so incredibly charming about the idea that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie chartered a train to take their family and the cast and crew of World War Z from London to Scotland. How does one even go about chartering a train? Is this common in Europe? Train travel is so rare in the states.

Channing Tatum was already starring as the elder stripper mentor to hunky young Alex Pettyfer in Magic Mike, Matthew McConaugheyloosely based on his life. Now the owner of the club has been cast, and it's Matthew McConaughey, who also has a history of losing his clothes.

Phillip William McKinley, who took over from Julie Taymor on Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark has set his sights on an arena-style version of The Bible: The Beginning, using many of the same flying and effects used to make Spider-Man work.

How do we feel about a red-headed Lois Lane? Because Amy Adams isn't wearing a wig on set.

The Parents Television Council is becoming a total joke. Now they're upset that cartoons have adult content like sex and drugs, and it's corrupting the children! Which cartoons upset them? Why the ones on Adult Swim. Uh. It's called "Adult" Swim for a reason. And the naughty stuff they're upset about doesn't air until 10 PM, even in Central Time. Maybe they should worry less about scolding Hollywood and more about getting parents to put their kids to bed at a decent hour.

KISS has been uninvited from the Michael Jackson tribute concert after organizers were made aware that Gene Simmons called Jackson a Rick Perrypedophile in 2010.

Texas Governor Rick Perry is set to address a reparative therapy group in New Hampshire as part of his presidential bid. Again, looking for that husband abroad. Anyone?

Bill Paxton is set to star in a miniseries on History Channel about the notorious feud between the Hatfields and the McCoys in West Virginia. I've seen the musical version many times at Theater West Virginia here in my home town, and told correctly, it can be very entertaining. I skipped it this year, but have tickets next Friday for their production of Rocket Boys, based around the book that became October Sky, before it heads to New York.

Bradley CooperBradley Cooper has dropped out of the remake of The Crow due to scheduling conflicts. Names being talked about to replace him are Mark Wahlberg and Channing Tatum, once he finishes being Magic Mike.

Rep. Michele Bachmann has great writers, because she's telling a doozy of a lie, without actually lying. She uses careful wording to blame President Obama for ballooning federal salaries, but those happened under President Bush.

It turns out that Kansas is actually flatter than a pancake, and we have scientific proof.

ABC Family is the gayest network on television according to GLAAD. So it stands to reason that anything they do could have a gay character. They are currently developing a U.S. version of the Mexican drama Terminales. Any of my readers clue me in on what to expect?
