Morning Meme: Kim Kardashian Is Married, Jason Bateman Will Center for Ryan Reynolds and Is Porky Pig Out?

The Guardian has a piece on the new documentary being made about Chris Crocker, and how it seeks to show that in the modern age Chris Crockeroutcasts can have intimate relationships with thousands without contact. What drew me to the article was Jake Shears, who said his "husbro" was making the film.

The Help won the weekend box office with $20.5 million, followed by Planet of the Apes in second. A distant third was the best a new film could muster, with Spy Kids 4 raking in $12 million, followed by Conan the Barbarian in fourth at $10 million, then Fright Night at a sad $8.3 million. Maybe it's time for an original idea, Hollywood?

Towleroad has a fantastic picture of Gwen Stefani's son Zuma wearing a Captain America costume while having his toenails painted. Stefani's eldest, Kingston, is quite the little fashion plate himself, accessorizing without regard to gender norms.

Porky and DaffyDid Porky Pig finally come out of the closet after Daffy asked him out to a romantic dinner? And why is Bugs insisting Daffy can only ask girls out? I call shenanigans!

Kim Kardashian is officially married to that giant hunk Kris Humphries. I'd like to say that means we can stop hearing about it, but since she sold all the rights to everything, I fear the gossip magazines have enough material until their inevitable honeymoon sex tape "leaks."

Has been UFC fighter Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira says he won't fight with a gay fighter, because "I have no prejudice against the gays, but I wouldn't train with someone who's gay. I have no malice, I don't take our physical contact as (something) sexual. But what if the gay person has that malice of having physDonald Faisonical contact with me, of staying there grappling?"

The UFC has issues with gays. There's Nogeira above, and also fighter Michael Bisping is tweeting out that all sorts of different things he doesn't like are "gay." But I doubt GLAAD or anyone else can make the UFC care, because the rot starts at the top. Recall that we had their president on video a couple weeks back openly questioning a reporter's sexuality.

Endangering the greatest bromance in history according to some, Donald Faison is engaged to marry CaCee Cobb.

Ryan Reynolds is returning to television – as an executive producer. He's landed a pilot deal at Fox for Guidance, which is being called an adult buddy comedy set in a high school.  Reaper's Tyler Labine is attached to star if it gets picked up.

I had no idea that the Christian right had set up counseling camps and various money businesses around convincing people that pornography and masturbation are wrong. They're managing this with grown men and increasingly, grown women. WillTricia Helfer Americans ever let go of their Puritan shame?

As we count down the last 30 days of Don't Ask, Don’t Tell, most active duty commanders are ready for implementation, while people who have no direct stake are reduced to trotting out the old "not during two wars" line rather than open hostility to change.

BSG's Tricia Helfer is set to star as a tough as nails attorney in the television reboot of The Firm. I'm torn, because I love Helfer, but I hate the idea of The Firm.

It turns out you can have your house repossessed for paying your mortgage too early. I swear, banks are fighting major religions for title of worst evil empire.Bryan Cranston

Bryan Cranston is set to star on The Simpsons as a superspy Homer sees as a result of a head injury. At this point, do head injuries even affect Homer?

Showtime just greenlit three new pilots, two of which have potential for gay viewers. Ray Donovan is about a Beverly Hills fixer with family problems. The interest is that it's by Ann Biderman, who brought us Officer Cuddlybear on Southland. The second is Masters of Sex, about the lives and relationship of Masters and Johnson, who wrote the book on sexuality.
