Morning Meme:Chord Overstreet Teases Mark Salling, "Wild Target" Brings Us Two Ruperts, and a Musical "Vampire Diaries" Episode?

The evil kittehs are taking over Big Bang Theory, and in a big way. There are pictures of Sheldon surrounded by the monstrous little things.

MTV has greenlit a series called Inbetweeners, which is another British import about teenagers who aren’t popular, but aren’t outcasts. I’ve never seen the original, so I don’t know if there are gay characters or not. Brits?

I’ve also never seen SLC Punk!, but the director, James Merendino is going to direct something called Vampire Summer Camp.  The movie centers on a musical theater competition between two summer camps, one of which caters to vampires. Yes, this is High School Musical meets Camp Rock meets Vampire Diaries. I think we’ve reached the end of ideas.

Richard Tillman, brother of NFL player and fallen hero Pat Tillman was on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher over the weekend. He’s someone you really should listen to. As a bonus he’s really nice to look at as well.

I’m a little torn on the subject of a musical episode of The Vampire Diaries. Ian Somerhalder wants to do one, but how can they top “Once More With Feeling?” Then again, he says that hunky Matt (Zach Roerig) has some serious dance moves.

Love the Fabulous Beekman Boys? Want to know all their deepest darkest secrets? Or maybe just their goat milk cheese recipe? You can submit a question and some of them will get answered on their holiday special.

Cindy Adams has quietly resumed her work at Page Six.  You have been warned, New York.

I don’t understand public art.

CBS has ordered a script for a second series based on a Twitter account.  Shh…Don’t Tell Steve is about a roommate tweeting his roomies private life. Sample tweet? “Total Asparagus pee bro! Come smell!” I’m guessing they’re going for a younger demographic than the normal CBS audience.

I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of the Stefon character that Bill Hader does on Saturday Night Live. He’s just such a one-dimensional stereotype. But he, like most stereotypes, has his basic grounding in real life and he used to serve Hader coffee. I wonder if Hader ever left him a tip worthy of the paycheck the ongoing bit earned him?

FactCheck.org has gone over the new Republican “Pledge To America.” They use words like “not true,” “when in fact,” “bogus assertion,” and “an exaggeration.” That’s just in the summary. Sadly, most Americans don’t read anything that has been fact checked.

Jimi Heselden, the self-made millionaire who bought Segway out of bankruptcy was killed in an apparent crash of his off-road Segway.

Treat Williams has been tapped to star in a multi-generation cop drama for Lifetime called Against the Wall . He made a great dad in Everwood though, and my mother loves him, so he’s a great fit for Lifetime.

As General Electric prepares to sell NBC Universal to Comcast for roughly $30 billion, an analyst has valued the different assets of the company. In a sad testament to changing times, NBC is worth -$600 million. The most valuable part of the package is USA Network at $11.7 billion, with SyFy at $6.3 billion and Bravo has built a $2.6 billion valuation out of awful Real Housewives of shows.

How is Fox News going to deal with a Republican primary for president when four out of five top candidates work for Fox News? Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum all have deals with the network. Only Mitt Romney stands alone.

This is a news website article about a scientific finding.

Is it wrong that I’m amused that ratings for The Cleveland Show were down 37% from the premiere last year?  Brothers & Sisters was flat to last year’s premiere.
