Morning Meme: Dylan McDermott Is Happy Naked, Bryan Fuller's "The Munsters" Is a Go, and "Fraggle Rock"'s Racial Slur?

Dylan McDermott has no problem being naked on American Horror Story,
though he admits to covering up between takes (unlike a certain
vampire on
HBO). "When I'm in the role, in the moment, I'm comfortable. After they
yell 'cut,' I don't need to put my balls in someone's face." He also says
he's being hit on by a lot more gay men than he's used to, "Honestly,
I'm cool with everyone, and people pick up on that. I'd say, 'I'm not gay, but
it's all good'. It's kind of like going to Paris when you don't know the
language: some Americans get into trouble over there, but I'm just like,
'Sorry, I don't speak French.'"
The Coming Out Story I Never Thought I'd Write.
A group of millionaires descended on Capitol Hill to demand that Congress raise their taxes by letting the Bush tax cuts expire.
It's now being reported that Joy Behar is going to end her show on HLN when her contract expires at the end of the year. She's still going to co-host The View, and is exploring other opportunities with Turner Broadcasting as well. It wasn't ratings that led to the decision.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
has posted pictures from his trip down to Occupy Wall Street on the night of
the eviction, but now he's got video up, from the time he realizes he has
to go, all through being barred from approaching the park. NSFW language.
The National Organization for Marriage is fundraising on the lie that Senator Feinstein is planning on attaching the Respect for Marriage Act to a must-pass Defense Authorization Bill. We should be so lucky that was even remotely possible.
This animation of Snoopy getting his groove on to LMFAO is both epic and fantastic, and also deeply disturbing.
NBC has made it official: The Bryan Fuller reboot of The Munsters will at least get a pilot filmed. Frankly,
with NBC's disastrous
schedule right now, they may need to rush it onto to air by spring.
Despite slipping in the ratings, NBC has given Grimm a script order for two additional episodes. Sean Hayes is having quite a run as a producer.
Instinct Magazine presented their Leading Men 2011 Awards in New York City this week, designed to honor out men beyond the normal glitterati. Local favorite Travis Walls was honored, as well as my friend Sean Chapin and Carl Siciliano of The Ali Forney Center, who is one of the most impressive (and hot) men I've ever had the pleasure to meet.
I have no idea if this video was actually produced before she was cast in the movie, but seeing goofy Jason Segel sing about why Amy Adams should say yes to The Muppets while Kermit cringes made my day.
It is The Sun, so big grain of salt time,
but they are reporting that the Jackson
estate has formally given Queen permission to master and release the recordings Michael made with Freddie Mercury in the early 1980s.
In sad news, Karl Slover, one of the last remaining Munchkins from The Wizard of Oz has passed away at the age of 93. He was also active in the fan community. "Of the 124 little people, he's one of the handful who got to enjoy this latter-day fame, to have people know who he was and be able to pick him out of the crowd in the movie."
The song currently stuck in John Waters' head is the Justin Bieber version of "Drummer Boy." He even sings it on the subway.
Peter Dinklage has been cast as Tattoo in the biopic of Hervé Villechaize
from the iconic show Fantasy Island.
If you missed it (and I kept forgetting to report it because of the way The Daily Caller is bookmarked for me), The A-List: Dallas' Taylor Garrett says he was assaulted when he interrupted a man keying "f*ck Coulter" into the side of his vehicle. A police report was filed, but he declined to allow Crime Scene to examine the car or seek medical attention, instead returning to a party and then calling conservative news site The Daily Caller about the incident, and saying he's being targeted because he's a Republican. "The Democrats want me to live on their plantation as their slave, because I’m a gay person. And I refuse to do that.”
