New on DVD: Madonna, Patty and a return to "Oz"

If you're a fan of The Wizard of Oz — and I know my not liking it all that much makes me a bad homo — ou've probably already got the movie on DVD. But hey, it's the 70th anniversary, so now there's a new collector's set that the die-hard Oz-o-phile will have a hard time resisting.

For run of the mill Dorothy-lovers, there's a fairly stripped-down Special Edition (a mere two discs), but anyone who fancies himself a card-carrying resident of the Emerald City will want to plunk down for the Ultimate Collector's Edition (available in Blu-Ray and standard) that includes sing-along features; four hours of featurettes about author L. Frank Baum, director Victor Fleming, the surviving Munchkins, and more including a coffee-table book, a watch, reproductions of the film's budget and 1939 ad campaign book. And if you buy it at Amazon, you'll get four posters as well.
