First Look: "Beginners" Brings Us Ewan McGregor, a Talking Dog, and a Gay Dad

We first covered Beginners back in September, and we now have the first trailer for the Toronto Film Festival hit.

The movie features Ewan McGregor as the son of Christopher Plummer, who's decided to come out of the closet ... late in life. Very late.

Plummer's performance looks like it has "Best Supporting Actor" written all over it, and his character's sexual exploration appears to be handled with sensitivity and humor (his response after visiting his first gay club definitely elicits a chuckle).

Oh, and for some reason, Ewan has a dog that talks with subtitles. Hopefully, it'll work.

Beginners is scheduled for release in June, and we'll keep you updated on what may be one of the prestige gay-inclusive pictures of 2011.
