Pic Post! Madonna does "Sticky & Sweet" in London

Madonna kicked off the European leg of her "Sticky & Sweet" world tour in London over the weekend, and the fifty-year old superstar displayed more vitality than a performer half her age.

Of all gay allies Madonna has perhaps engendered the most debate, with opinions ranging from "crass opportunist" to "the greatest gay icon", but like Michael Jackson (who she paid tribute to at the London concert), there's no denying the impact she's had on pop music.

The crowd went wild when Tom Petty made a surprise appearance!

Personally, I much prefer her 80's output to the more recent stuff. I'll take Borderline and Live To Tell (which has the honor and distinction of being #15 on the official Snicks 80's Top 100) to anything she's done this decade.

Ta-da!

The most blatant attempt at brown-nosing ever witnessed.
