Another easy opportunity for you to vote for Luke and Noah to become more physical

As pointed out in a nice email that I received from by our very own luvluke1, mainstream media is providing us with yet another opportunity to let different stakeholders know how we feel about Luke and Noah.

This week Soap Opera Digest poses the question in a way that most people here have been very vocal about having it framed: "Should Luke and Noah get more physical?" Maybe we should tell them that maybe, possibly, YES!!!!! I think that one can vote once per day.

Tomorrow I'll report whether the CBS Fan Forum Poll deemed that the reason they keep coming back to ATWT is Luke and Noah.....

Guys, You've lost. I say "you" because I have given up on ATWT. Let's face it, the "suits" and neo-nazi fascist (Anti)-Christian right wing has won. They have the money, lots of it, and money = power...power to direct storylines. Your pathetic little Hersheys kisses haven't a chance against "real" money-power.

The neo-nazis will never again allow a new, "real" kiss between Luke & Noah. I was convinced of this following the big fat 0 (zeroes) following the Christmas and New Years fake promises. In fact, even hugs will be seen less and less. But all you guys who don't care about any kind of physical touching, don't worry, no doubt, at least for a short while, you will get lovey-dovey looks between Luke & Noah. HooRay!

And then of course, as is always the case with all soap operas, the obstacles to happiness will enter into Luke's & Noah's non-relationship/relationship. Noah &/or Luke will suddenly find himself attracted to girls and want children and finally split up for good.

And the poor writer who fooled CBS & ATWT into allowing those two "real" kisses; my guess, guys, he was fired at least 2 months ago. The censors always win.

And if this wasn't enough, you must now endure the transformation of Noah from man to milktoast and Luke from a strong, normal lusty teen in love, to "...Hey, Noah, let's move in with Grandma so we won't ever have to touch or kiss or make love ever!! Won't that be great & perfect!?!"

So, ciao my dear friends - the amazing kisses promising hope in the early fall of 2007, are gone and with it my interest in ATWT.

Despite the way the hostile tone rankles, I don't necessarily disagree.

However, hope springs eternal and fortunately my TiVo already records programs at a faster rate than I can watch them. I'll be the first to admit that I blow through every ATWT at super speed, assuming that I watch the episodes at all. On the off-chance anything interesting happens with Nuke it will provide roughly 30 seconds of entertainment on the TV, doubtless followed by pages of slash fiction on the internet.

Oh well, there's always Brothers & Sisters. It's actually easier to relate to the mid-30's gay professional who gets laid than it is to two hot college freshmen who don't.

Damn this writer's strike! I hope settlement is achieved soon.
