Never watched much of the movie "300" as I didn't like the homophobic undertones to it. There is a parody of it on YouTube. I just read on towleroad that it is being picked for distribution. I hope it is as funny as the clip.

HA!!!
That was great!
There is already a Scary/Date/Epic Movie style parody of the 300 coming out called Meet the Spartans though.
The 300 unquestionably was strategically designed as a Red State "man's man" movie for Republican voters. Not just that it was homophobic, but also very historically inaccurate in details down to the costumes, the Spartans' endless speeches about "freedom" (they ran a military state where slaves outnumbered free citizens by a huge margin), Persian evil (they actually had one of the most equitable empires in history), Spartan disdain of Athenian "boylovers" (Spartan soldiers had such a homosexual culture that their wives had to dress up as men on their wedding night so their husbands wouldn't freak out at bedding a woman) and Xerxes (burly bear gets re-imagined as screaming queen).
Personally I thought the 300 was a two hour Republican campaign ad.
