The following story is running under "funny news" on CNN's website:
The son of Gov. Kathleen Sebelius is peddling a board game titled "Don't Drop the Soap," a prison-themed game he created as part of a class project at the Rhode Island School of Design.
If this sounds hilarious to you, you can get more details at http://edition.cnn.com/2008/LIVING/wayoflife/01/28/dont.drop.soap.ap/index.html

Gay board gamers
Hehe, I liked this story. Reminds me of those lines in Tango & Cash:
Ray Tango: Pleasure doing time with ya.
Gabriel Cash: Yeah, I'll never forget that time in the shower.
I dabble in board games from time-to-time as I have some friends in the UK that represent our country at boardgaming.
I wonder how many true gay-themed board games there are? I can't think of any...
In 1983 there was ...
Gay Monopoly from the Parker Sisters. There was an alligator as their mascot from the Lacoste shirts, so popular among gays back then. You could by Bars and Bathhouses instead of utilities and railroads. Provincetown and Palm Springs were the most expemsive properties with with Dupont Circle and Montrose alonge the way. Instead of jail you could be banished to the Straight World. Camp cards offtred the players to say Fabulous 6 different ways. Some of the images on the board were provided by Tom of Finland.
Unfortunately, only a few were produced before before Parker Brothers, the holders of the copyright sued the Parker Sisters, and their parent company Fire Island Games into oblivion. A good copy, if it comes up on ebay, can fetch $300.
No iyt'a not funny
This is just another excuse for homophobes. Everyone knows that the straight men use the gays in prison, it's been going on forever, They also use the straight's that happen to be "pretty", and many commit suicide.
The gay men in prision aren;t innocent either. they use whomever is weakest, just as the straights do. You cannot be cut completly off from sex. My own Phsyciatrist said there are 2 kinds of peeople, gay, bisexual, and liars, ad that does include the women.
