ATWT video clip update: Noah and his friend. His special friend...

So who out there was thinking that when Nuke found themselves alone in the kitchen and Noah did that sexy throw-the-dish-towel-around-boyfriends-neck that they might actually kiss? Yeah, me neither. But they still looked darn adorable!

Naturally, just as they were about to kiss, there was a knock at the door. Look, it's the Iraqi Avon Lady/Girl Scout!

It's actually cousin Plot Contrivance aka Ameera who explains she knew Noah's father back in Iraq. Nuke decides they buy her story and, of course, invite her to move on to the Snyder commune, er, farm. While Luke dashes off to tell his parents they have yet one more mouth to feed, Noah says Ameera is a pretty name and asks what it means. Says Ameera, "It is Iraqi for not very clever way to keep gay boys from kissing. With me around, you'll never have another moment's privacy. Bwa-ha-ha!"

Okay, she really said her name means morning dew or pretty bird or morning dew on pretty bird. Do you really care? Ameera then observes that Noah and Luke look nothing alike and asks if they are cousins. Noah says, "No, no at all. We're lovers, baby! We knock boots morning, noon, and night. We do the mango tango, the mandanna banana, and every other sexual fruit metaphor that you can think of. Either that or he said they are "friends. Special friends." I think "special" means they don't kiss.

At least they looked sweet holding hands!

BTW, the Nuke clips from next week's show the boy's getting called "faggots". Nice to know CBS thinks the audience is okay with handling anti-gay epithets, but no same-sex macking. Maybe the idea is to show those conservative viewers how rough we have it, then let them kiss. In writing terms, we call that a "reach".
