Putting the Gay back into game shows

I enjoy watching game shows. I like trivia and all that kind of stuff. Sure, there are some game shows that are boring but in general, I enjoy them. Shows such as Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, Deal Or No Deal, The Weakest Link, The Price Is Right (I miss Bob Barker, but Drew Carey is doing a good job IMO), Jeopardy, and Wheel Of Fortune just to name a few. I would like to focus on two game shows that are currently airing in primetime.

The first is the Power Of Ten hosted by Drew Carey and airs on CBS (it's currently on hiatus until Big Brother 9 ends if I'm not mistaken). What I enjoy about this show are the questions themselves. A national sample of 10,000 people (I could be mistaken) are asked questions such as "What percentage of Americans think that people over the age of 75 should NOT be allowed to drive a car?" as well as TONS of other very interesting questions. The show even takes an audience poll as to what they are thinking as well to help the contestant. I enjoy seeing the results to these questions PURELY OUT OF CURIOSITY. Although the results are NOT scientific, it gives one a sense of what Americans are thinking on a wide variety of topics/questions. Now imagine adding gay-themed questions from time to time like, for example, "What percentage of Americans believe that homosexuality is God given (or apparent from birth/a very early age) and not a choice?" I would personally LOVE to see this incorporated into this show on a regular basis. Do you see what I'm getting at? After all, it's CBS that opened this "can of worms" regarding NUKE on ATWT. I know, I know, the ATWT story is a mess but why can't the same network keep this "can of worms" open? Just food for thought.

The second is The Moment Of Truth hosted by Mark Wahlberg (no...not Marky Mark) on FOX. The contestants on this show are given a polygraph test of 50 or so questions with the aim of telling the truth of course. The producers then pick 21 out of those 50 questions that end up being the 'quiz' to the contestants on the show. As long as the contestant keeps telling the truth, he/she will continue to win money. One lie and it's game over and no money is won. Questions on this show are very provocative and often involve very personal issues like "Have you ever cheated on your boyfriend/girlfriend?" It's a very risky type of show and one must have a lot of BALLS to appear on this show. Now, again, imagine asking gay-themed questions from time to time like, for example, "Have you ever engaged in man to man sex even though you state that you are a straight male?" I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS! Very controversial yes, but this would be a great way to expose the TRUTH about one's (perceived perhaps) sexuality. Would FOX even dare to do this? I personally think so because the FOX network has been known to be a little more different and daring than the other networks. Once again, does anyone see where I'm going with this? Sure, there is the potential of young children witnessing this sort of thing, however, there's this wonderful invention called the remote control and even channel blocking/adult lock etc. Once again, more "food for thought."

So, tell me, what do you think about this? Do you think that this would be great for us gay men, or am I just being stupid? LOL. I would love to get more feedback on this topic. Heck, add your own ideas if you want. I simply brought up this topic because in my head this would make for innovative televison. Lets have some fun here and talk about this at greater length. Peace everyone.

penis check?

Well, the gayest I've seen on there is when they had a football player asked whether he had ever checked out the other naked guys' penises in the locker room.

Which he admittedly had. I think they might have even had a pro player come out as a guest and ask him that question. Jerry Rice? Or someone like that. I forget whom, but you get the point: it was really a put-you-on-the-spot situation.
