ATWT has a new Viewer's Voice poll where you can vote for your favorite couple. The guys are in first place at over 41%. I'd like to know what they were smoking when they put Luke and Ameera as a choice though......

Given the fact that CBS keeps saying they have nothing to do with the content of P&G's soap, I find it interesting that they keep asking the questions. If they listen and don't have any influence over content then why ask the questions in the first place? And if they don't listen and don't have any influence over content then why ask the questions in the first place?

CBS' interest in ATWT
They have a vested interest. They can cancel the show at any moment, change the time slot or decide not to renew. Since the show is doing well and not harming the CBS brand, there is no reason to interfere. However it's in CBS' interest to keep tabs on the show and act as a somewhat impartial mediator between the stupid producers and the enlightened fans.
Six months from now, CBS can say "we showed you our poll results in April that said that Luke and Noah were the most popular couple, yet you chose to cut their air time and now your ratings are down. We think you goofed. It looks like if you had given them more air time WE wouldn't be in this mess. If you don't give them a chance or raise ratings then we are going to lose confidence and drop the show."
As long as the show goes from 7th place to 3rd and holding, CBS isn't about to pressure them on how to tell their story.

I just voted, and the results showed Luke & Noah as having only 0.56% of the votes! Aside from anything else, I can't believe anyone cares about the Jack/Carly/Katie triangle any more. Dead horse, anyone?

CBS Confuses Voters.....
The way the poll is laid out is confusing. You have to look at the number above the couple, not on the same line to see where they actually place. There's no way Katie and Jack would be getting over 41%! Here are the current results.
See? Luke and Noah are at 43.92%.

What people don't know yet is that Ameera is a disguised guy. Once Luke will find out what's under the Burka Noah can go home.
Maybe we should all start to vote for Ameera and Luke and totally disturb CBS.

Luke and Noah 36.80 % and in second place Carly and Jack with 30.40 %
That seems a bit high for Carly and Jack ? or is it just because their storyline to save Parker just came to end ?

This Parker mess was the first time in more than a year that Carly was not painted as worse than the devil or Jack even more jugmental than the moral majority, so I am assuming that their fans are starting to stand up for their reunion.
I think what is happening with Nuke is that so many of us are tired of how they are being written and already been burned so we don't want to send them a signal that they keep us coming back as it might represent yet another implicit acceptance that Luke/Ameera/Noah or whatever else gets called Luke and Noah, keeps us coming back.
Some will argue that we need to keep "supporting" them by continuing to vote for them no matter what. My perspective is that I'd rather risk having TPTB use any rationalization to get rid of them than keeping this status quo.
I am bored with their agnst. Katie and Brad had some silly fun at the park a couple of days ago, stole some kids bicycles, wound up in a lake. Goofy, silly, and kind endearing if you like soaps. Luke and Noah deserve the same. I am not surprised by the poll results :-(
