Not that I'm actually watching it much anymore (though I am appreciating the sacrifice of the liveblogging and I'll rarely even watch a video clip, if only in disbelief), but ... y'know, if Ameera is upset and threatening to move back to Iraq, Luke's response should be to run out and purchase a one-way ticket. "Obviously you don't appreciate the sacrifices my boyfriend and I have made, so ... see ya!"

Okay, now we're venturing past the realm of the absurd and into the realm of just plain flat-out stupid!

Honestly, I'm not even sure how to react to this.  In any sane world (where Luke reacted like a human being instead of a robot) he would probably offer to help Ameera pack and see if grandma (the rich one) would spring for a First Class ticket back to the Middle East.

But of course this won't happen.  Our boys will have to plead with the Plot Device to stay.  Because since they're not allowed to have an actual relationship like Ollian over on Verbotene Liebe they need something to keep their dull storyline going.  Ollian live with a chick too, but their's a blatant fag hag so it's normal.  Nuke are totally divorced from all gay (and human) norms, so their's would have to be Iraqi refugee with questionable ties to Noah's father. 

I just now realized that they were employing foreshadowing all those months ago when Luke and Noah were discussing their prospective living arrangements and they made some non-sensical remarks about wanting to form a "different sort of family".

*SHUDDER*

Apparently this "different sort of family" will entail a household consisting of Luke, his same-sex not-quite-partner Noah, Noah's married-for-the-Green-Card Muslim wife and presumably any progeny they manage to produce.

My God!  It sounds like some kind of 60's commune! 

I do watch the clips every-so-often ... I must be a glutton for punishment!  The story has gone from important and entertaining to just plain stupid and insulting!!! As cute as Luke is, I would not want a boyfriend like him ... he has no BALLS!!! The writers had a good thing going and unless they make some changes soon, they will loose it.

And on YouTube....Thanks Andy....Wouldn't waste my time spending more than 10 minutes watching this train wreck....There is only one way that I would watch again...is a public apology from TIIC at ATWT to the gay community for all the insults they have thrown at us during the last 6 months.

And the three of them living together would look PERFECTLY NORMAL to the INS! Why not have Casey move in, too? This show must think the viewers are idiots.

shouldn't by a ticket for Ameera, but one for themselves .... to Germany. I'm very sure there's an empty room in the flat that Oliver and Christian share with Judith and that the guys are more then willing to offer it to Luke and Noah.
