This is an interesting way for a gay person and their partner to be included in media. I'd hate to have such a phobe for a parent. In the Council Bluffs Nonpareil newspaper in the Sunday May 11, 2008 obituaries, there's a long listing for Dorothy Suzanne (Griffith) Stein, dead on May 7. She is listed as a chaplain for Focus On The Family (Unless it's Your Own Family of course!) for five years till the Christian god struck her with cancer (apparently in retribution, isn't that how the rightwing groups say the Christian deity works these days?) and she had to quit. Listed among her survivors are her children including Chadwick Gordon Christensen and partner Michael Christensen-Bell. Are all the rightwing organizations simply run by closeted gay men (have you ever seen them interviewed, they all set off gaydar) and disgruntled relatives?
