ATWT -- Luke/Noah SPOILERS For The Week of May 19th - Updated With New Spoilers From Soap Opera Weekly

Uh-oh! Next week, Col. Mayer escapes from prision. He goes to Ameera, asking her to help him. Meanwhile, Luke and Noah are trying to find Ameera. They get in touch with a goverment agent named Ben Coyle, hoping he can help them. Unfortunately, Coyle is in league with Col. Mayer.

Also, according to SOD, Luke and Noah share another kiss on Tuesday, May 20th. Noah gets bad news from the police on that same day and it continues Wednesday, May 21rst. How much shall we bet that Luke and Noah are kissing and are about to go all the way when the police show up with news of Col. Mayer's escape from the slammer? Oh and Ameera finds herself in danger on Friday, May 23rd. So, that's three Luke/Noah days (so far) next week.

SOW has a spoiler article about next week's upcoming events. Here's what's happening:

Things get started when Noah finds the letter his father sent him that went missing months ago amongst Ameera's things. Then Noah gets a letter from Ameera saying she's gone away and is leaving Luke and Noah free to be together. The idea of Ameera no longer being in their lives puts Luke and Noah in a romantic mood, but then the police arrive with news of Col. Mayer's escape from prision. Noah fears Ameera's suddenly leaving and Col. Mayer's break from jail are connected and he is concerned for his wife's safety. Luke, however, is more suspicious and thinks Col. Mayer and Ameera are in cahoots. When Noah later gets a frantic phone call from Ameera, he takes off for New York to find her, leaving Luke behind because he feels he and Luke aren't on the same page where Ameera is concerned. Plus, if things get dangerous, Noah doesn't want Luke getting hurt. But, according to Jake Silbermann (Noah), Noah could wind up getting hurt himself. According to the actor, a lot happens in New York that is going to shape Luke and Noah's relationship for the coming weeks and months. Silbermann adds: "They have no idea what is in store for them."

SOW is also reporting that from this point forward Luke and Noah's expressions of intimacy will no longer be left out of storyline breakdowns, which is the way it has been in the past. According to the article, they'll be treated, in terms of physical affection, just like any other couple on the show. The article says they'll be kissing on May 19th (though SOD reports it happens on May 20th) and it'll be the first of many to come. Says Silbermann: "Because of all they are going through and all the drama they are dealing with it may not be the most passionate thing, but whatever affection the feel for one another always comes from a genuine place."

So, Ameera, in attempting to earn citizenship, helps an escaped convict hide from the police? LOL

At least this part of the story line sounds like it may require more than just one day of Nuke to unfold.

Unless, of course, it's the shortest prison escape ever...

I could care less if hot, delicious Casey finds his father's ex-mistress (is that what she really is?) remotely attractive. Being a "newer" viewer, I dunno what Jokedale's finest harlot Emily's history is. All I care about is ANY excuse to get stud puppy Casey out of his clothes and showing off that incredible bod! He is absolutely the ONLY reason why I'm still watching this disaster of an afternoon soap. I don't even watch Puke segments anymore. I am sooooooo over whiney-ass Luke and brain-dead Noah! I tape the show on my DVR and fast forward thru most of it if Casey isn't on. The rest is a complete bore. I'm still hoping for more action with Casey if and when that other hottie Matt comes back. I wanna know just how close and why they were so chummy when they both were in Jokedale's easily escapable prison! That would be a helluva lot hotter than snore inducing Puke!

My mother watched ATWT years ago when I was a mere lad, so I was already familiar with the main families and major charachters when Nuke appeared on the scene. As bored as I get at work, I've taken to reading the history of the charachters (according to my Bible, Wikipedia) and Emily has quite a sordid past.

She's slept with Tom Hughes (Casey's Father) and fathered a child with him, Daniel, who is being raised by Tom and Margo. She's also slept with Paul Ryan and Chris Hughes, now (sadly) deceased Dusty Donovan, and I believe attempted to seduce Holden at some point. Further, before she returned to Oakdale a few months ago with Chris Hughes, she had worked as a Prostitute (again, I believe, but not certain).

Anthony, feel free to correct me or add to it if you wish.

And also, just trivia, In Real Life: Emily and Holden are actually married with three or four children. How's that for an odd-couple (given their on-screen personalities)

If Tom and Margo are raising "Daniel", where is he? He's not living at the house, the only "child" there is Casey. Did Daniel go out for ice cream and just never come back?

Holden and Em....

.... were married a long time ago in the late 80's, I believe (a different actress played Emily then, though Jon Hensley played Holden, which shows you how long he's been on the show). Em was pregnant with evil James Stenbeck's baby, but tried to pass it off as Holden's. Holden married her, but after she lost the baby, he found out the truth and divorced her. It was after that Em had the affair with Paul Ryan, who was then a teenager and Em was the older woman. When Emily and Paul were together a few years back, there was no longer an age difference (thanks to recasting of both roles of course). In fact, I don't think anyone ever mentioned they'd been lovers over 20 years before!

Casey leaves me cold. Maybe I'm still traumatized by the Craptabulous Haircut from Hair Metal Hell he was sporting when he first arrived.

I like the actor, but the story line with Emily is so trite. As was their getting it on in a CBS office in Midtown.

Was anyone else bothered by the show interspersing Night-time scenes in Oakdale with Day-time scenes in New York. How far away is Oakdale supposed to be?

Even a gay man should be able to appreciate her physical attributes. She looked great in her undies the other day. However, Casey knows enough of her history to steer clear of her. Personally, I thought I'd hate the story, but I think Casey and Em have chemistry and the plot is certainly soapy enough. It's working for me so far. I can't wait until Margo finds out, but I don't think that will happen for awhile. My guess is that Casey and Em will spend some time resisting each other, then decide they can't and then decide if it's a real relationship or just sex. My personal hope is that it's a real relationship. It'll make the plot meatier IMO if they actually fall in love.

.... it's interesting that the show has made a major turnaround regarding affection between Luke and Noah. I don't know what caused the change, but I'm glad it's happening. But until Luke and Noah have sex in an office or in an elevator, they won't truly be like any other couple on this show!
