Just got this through Netflix, and wanted to know what others thought of it.  A VERY low budget film, shot digitally in just 5 days in 2000, at its heart it was very sweet and gentle.  While it did have some of the usual low budget downsides (such as occasional sound issues and variable acting), it also was edited very skillfully, didn't drag, and had some really nice moments of genuine emotion. 

Moreover, the lead character had a sweet and innocent core, which we rarely see anymore.

Also, I just realized that the writer/director of this film wrote the upcoming feature MILK.

Anyone else have thoughts on this film???
