Journey of Jared PriceJust got this through Netflix, and wanted to know what others thought of it. A VERY low budget film, shot digitally in just 5 days in 2000, at its heart it was very sweet and gentle. While it did have some of the usual low budget downsides (such as occasional sound issues and variable acting), it also was edited very skillfully, didn't drag, and had some really nice moments of genuine emotion. Moreover, the lead character had a sweet and innocent core, which we rarely see anymore. Also, I just realized that the writer/director of this film wrote the upcoming feature MILK. Anyone else have thoughts on this film???

It is a sweet little film
I stumbled upon a few years back myself. For what it is, it is very seet. Too bad Corey Spears, its star did work more. He maintains an eponymous website that records his life and poetry, if you would like to know more about him.
Dustin Lance Black has long been a part of Gus Van Sant's inner circle. He directed a documentary a few years back called, ON THE BUS, about six guys attending Burning Man for the first time.
