I downloaded it just now, so I'm gonna watch it, But I did watch Do not disturb, and it really sucked. Altough good actors it was never really funny. Another pilot that has leaked, don't know for how long it has been available, but it's called Raising the Bar, and I think it's gonna air on TNT (if they picked it up, which I have no idea about), and it's actuallya good show, it you like legal shows, and it also has a gay character (but not one who is out)

I also downloaded "raising the bar". I haven't watched it yet.

Do not disturb was so not funny. Way too muh forced for my type of comedies(The Office, My name is earl). The actors were nice I guess yet the writing and some charaters were way over the top. The gay guy was somehow not that stereotypical (compared to the "great" year 2006 that brought us "Help Me Help You" and "the Class") however he is far from being endearing.

An other "gay pilot" leaked, "True Blood" (HBO) features a black gay character working as a cook in small town bar. Although a little effeminate, he is confident in himself and takes to sh*t from no one which will make an interesting character to follow.

 

 

I just watched "Raising the bar" H and you are right, it is a good legal type of show. I usually dread that genre (the exception is Damages on FX) but the little show has a good heart behind it. I totally did not see the gay/bi character coming. *Spoilers* I thought that you were refering to the muscled homophobe guy in prison. But it is quite interesting that on the contrary, it is the guy pleasing his female boss. If he is actually bi and not faking it with his boss it would be a very rare thing on tv right now.
