ATWT -- Luke/Noah Casting News -- Possible SPOILERS

There is a casting script for an episode that would be airing in mid to late August that would affect the Luke/Noah storyline.  In the script, Luke and Noah are starting some sort of foundation using Damien's money and Lucinda is helping them.  She hooks them up with a guy named Brian to run the foundation.  It doesn't say what kind of foundation it is, only that it's important to the guys and they are very anxious to get started.  Brian is also a possible love interest for Lucinda.   Also during the scene there is some sort of dance contest between Luke and Noah/Brian and Lucinda.

Why I wish that Noah would vanish, I have to get over it, and what a better way of helping me do that but having TPTB hire a male actor whocould be a love interest for Lucinda. The coolest chicks ATWT are "mature" and Kim does not let Dr. Bob out of her sight too often. The second oldest man on the show is Dr. Bob's son, so it does not take a genius to see that mature men are needed in Oakdale. The way things are going, as soon as Emily gets tired of Butters, they set him up with Susan.

Can the showrunners be getting a clue after two years of what looked like a dare to stop watching? Dance-off between Lucinda "Cha Cha De Gregorio" Walsh and Luke? My money is on Luci unless they get last year's runner-up from SYTYCD (Neil Haskell, who looks like Van's brother) to teach him some lessons. Holden took lessons too so maybe he can bring that hot blonde who was teaching him into the fold.....

An Emily/Butters/Susan triangle--mother and daughter sharing the same boy toy, thus completing the ultimate Hughes/Stewart romantic conflict--Susan had an affair with Dr. Bob (Butters' grandfather) years ago, Emily had an affair with Tom (Butters' father) resulting in Butters' half-brother Daniel--thus, Butters would be sleeping with both his brother's mother and grandmother!!

The foundation that is so important to Luke and Noah is formed to support young gay couples in Mid-America who have taken a secret vow of celibacy in deference to the AFA's mandate that gay people hate their perverse 'sins' while still trying to love themselves and refrain from PDA's on daytime television. "for only 25 cents a day, you can help this wayward sinner."

More than likely it will be a "youth" awareness program like the gay straight alliance. The "Love the sinner," part of their world view.

I was hoping Brian was a new love interest for Luke. The love triangle would spice things up. I guess I will just wait for Craig to return to Hollyoaks.

... the foundation storyline, assuming it plays out like this, will eventually lead to a new love interest for Luke and a rival for Noah.  JMO, though.

I made a little mistake when I first read the script.  There isn't a dance contest.  What happens is that there are a few scenes between Luke, Noah and Lucinda where they discuss the foundation.  These take place at the Lakeview.  Then, Brian is introduced to them by Lucinda and after they talk Luke and Noah decide to hire him to head the foundation.  Later, the four of them go to Metro, presumedly to celebrate.  Luke and Noah are dancing and Lucinda and Brian join them on the dance floor.  Lucinda and Brian quit early saying 'they couldn't compete with the boys' and go back to their table.  These are interspersed with some Paul/Meg scenes..... but I don't think anyone cares what they are up to!  LOL!

"Brian" will probably not be a love interest for any of my favorite broads and might even start stealing some cash from Luke via this foundation as his biological father probably still wants access to the trust fund that he set up for Luciano. I know, my glass if half empty....

What is it with these writers and young people? All they know is rapid aging via a baby and marriage if they are straight, or perpetual doom and gloom for the gays. Gwen and Will acted/whined like they were in their late 30s and Luke and Noah like 5 year olds going on 80.... A foundation? WTF? How about summer school? The Snyder pond, Java, a rival or two, fun, jealousy, and age-appropriate fun? It's the easiest writing under the sun. The only semi-acceptable age appropriate activities are given to Parker and la Lohan.

And please.... any script that has Lucinda not being able to keep up with the boys on the dance floor.... Unlikely.... as I can't see TPTB allowing Nuke to pop or krunk..... Here I was envisioning a Grease or at least Hairspray dance-off between the gays and the mature and able....

Writers of all that is Nuke-related: BE GONE!

I am beginning to hate the folks in Oakdale.  Firing expensive actors to get cheaper actors, sluggish story lines,  Emmys for actresses that bore the daylights out of me,  why not hire better writers, maybe one who has actually been in a gay relationship.

 

I had a more active sex life chasing polywogs in 4th grade than Nuke has had in the last year.

know something that the rest of us mere mortals don't know about the up coming storyline? Or did you gaze into your crystal ball.

There have been rumours that Noah goes off to Iraq and while he is away Luke falls for another guy. Is there any truth to that?

A few pages from a future script has been scanned and has been making the rounds of the message boards. There are 6 pages of script from an episode with a new character, Brian(?), who seems to be smitten with Lucinda. It appears that Brian has legal expertise in setting up charitable foundations and agrees to help Luke (and Noah.) Luke and Noah are very much a couple in these pages. I don't remember that Luke actually says where or how he acquired the money in these scenes, that must have been established in another scene, long before this one. This scene starts with Luke and Noah asking Lucinda if her new friend will be able to help Luke with the foundation he is planning, "Why don't you ask him yourself," Lucinda says, "he's right over there." and her friend walks up and joins them. He pretty much brushes off the boys and makes a play for Lucinda.

The markings on this copy of the script indicates that it is for the part of Brian and contains comments from the director or producer concerning revisions. It is possible this was a working script or an audition script. I'm sure somebody is in hot water over the fact that it's been leaked to the public, I can't imagine it was intended. Because this is copyrighted material, which was never meant to be published on the internet, I wouldn't link the pages here. If you're interested, check at the other Nuke Fan forums.

I thought that luke singed over his trust to Damien when they got in that big fight at the airport? So how does he get money from Damien and also i thought luke didn't want anything to do with the blood money as he put it...

Maybe Damien dies and Luke inherits it all back. It would be merciful since they have continued to f*ck up Damien's character every time he comes back to the show.

Luke did sign over the trust fund at the airport that day.  But since Van said that Luke hears from someone from his past and that's what starts the new storyline, he probably hears from his bio-dad, who is giving the money back.  Though it is possible that they would kill Damien off and have Luke and Noah bond over dead fathers who didn't want them to be gay and Luke inherits the money.  Since Luke didn't want the money in the first place, it makes sense he would use it to do something good.  That's why he starts the foundation.  Since Luke talked about his entire history with Damien on Wednesday's show, it's clear the show has something in mind.

Hmm I think I'm the first girl to comment Lol. So, I LIVE on Van and Jake's boards and here are some official spoilers, and yes, they are accurate. And to be honest, no I haven't read what you've previously posted. I'm too lazy at the moment :P

Luke and Noah reunite this week, thanks to an '80s icon, singer Cyndi Lauper. "I'm doing a little singing, a little matchmaking," Lauper previews.

"It's Oakdale University's Pride Week and she is a special guest," explains Van Hansis (Luke). "She's making a stop on her tour in Oakdale, playing at Yo's. And we address the fact that it is much smaller than all her other venues." Luke interviews her for school and "He's a big fan of hers, so he gets a little tongue-tied," Hansis adds. As they're talking, Noah comes in with another guy, which rattles Luke. Cyndi notices and asks Luke about it. He tells her the whole story. Noah leaves, but returns in time to hear Cyndi perform "True Colors" and dedicate it to Luke. "Noah gets to meet her and he's a little starstruck," says his portrayer, Jake Silbermann. Noah and Luke then head outside, where Noah admits he loves Luke and they kiss. But right after, Noah makes a shocking admission that may threaten the future of this duo.

And just my little bit about the trust fund(because I skimmed the page and saw that part) At Van's board we've actually talked about whether or not he has money that we don't know about. The conclusion I think is most accurate is that he only signed ONE of his trust funds away and probably has several. Not to mention all the money Lilly made a few months ago. That's why I also think he offered to lend Noah money, he has more than enough. Especially with Lucinda as a grandmother who added even MORE money to ALL of her grandchilden's accounts after her husband died.
