Luke and Noah will air on Monday, July 14 and Friday, July 18th and here's what is happening....

On Monday's show, Luke and Noah are enjoying their new status as a happy couple with no troubles, until there's trouble.  Luke recieves a letter from bio-dad Damien that has surprising news, which starts the guys new storyline.  Looking to make amends for the bad things he's done to Luke, Damien is offering to return Luke's inheritence.  But Luke doesn't want the money and refuses it.  However, Lucinda suggests that Luke take the money and do something good with it.  After getting Noah's opinion, Luke decides to take the dough.

By Friday's episode, Holden has told Lily about his affair with Carly.  Lily's reaction leads to violence when Lily goes after Carly by trying to run her down in her car.  Lily swerves at the last minute, crashes and winds up in the hospital.   There, she tells Jack about the affair and Jack goes to have it out with Carly.  Unfortnately, Parker is listening.  Meanwhile, Luke and Noah rush to the hospital and Holden tells Luke about his affair with Carly.  Luke is suitably pissed and takes Lily home.   Holden comes by and wants to see Lily, but Luke won't let him.  Lily begs Luke not to hate his father, but Luke wants nothing to do with him.

About Damien.....

For those of you who don't know, when last seen, Damien, who didn't like the fact that Luke was gay, schemed to send Luke to a deprogramming camp.  When Luke uncovered the plot, Damien pinned it on Lily, who was conviently in a coma at the time and couldn't defend herself (she got in the coma when Luke accidentally pushed her down the stairs when Luke confronted her about trying to send him away to the aforementioned camp).   Eventually, Damien sort of came around on the gay issue, or at least he pretended to.  He then plotted to make Luke think he was dying so Luke would move with him to Malta.  But really, Damien was scheming to bilk Luke of his trust fund.  Thanks to Holden and Jack, the plot was exposed and when Luke refused to go Damien tried to kidnap him.  In a scene that got Van Hansis nominated for an Emmy, he rejected Damien and signed over the trust fund to him, cutting the man out of his life for good.  Or at least until next week.

Never cared for Damien

Although I wasn't watching ATWT regularly during the times that Damien was a featured player, I never really cared for the actor that played him or the character. There was just something about him the few times I watched that didn't click with me. Now it appears that he may be coming back. Damn, just ANOTHER cock-blocking obstacle to keep Loretta and the dimwit from FINALLY having hot gay sex. Couldn't they just throw a damn Raging Stallion DVD in the player and pretend to have sex for us. They could be doing their trampoline act on the Serta and we could catch glimpses of Jake Deckard and Scott Tanner on the TV in the background doing what we wished Loretta and Dimwit should be doing!

Wow -- TWO Psycho-Dads!

No wonder the boys don't have time for nookie.

I Loved Damien

I was a big fan of the character and the actor and I loved the Holden/Lily/Damien triangle back in the day.  I've always been for Holden and Lily as a couple since they were teenagers, but Damien was such a compelling character and he and Lily made such a good couple that it gave me pause.  I wasn't really pleased with the writing for Damien when he came back for the coming out storyline because the show, as usual, changed the story three or four different times before deciding what they wanted.   They also had Holden and Luke acting utterly out of character which didn't help.  I don't think we'll be seeing Damien, at least not intially.  There are rumors that the actor/character may come back (the show was asked, but chose not to comment), which would be interesting not just for Luke and Noah's story, but for Holden and Lily as well.  Damien warned Holden to never hurt Lily, so it would be interesting to see how he would react to what Holden has done.

I just saw the

I just saw the preview...

I can't believe they're showing Parker and Liberty sleeping together before Nuke. (Well yes I can believe it, which is sad.) Yes, I realize they're literally sleeping together and not having The Sex, but it's still more intimacy than we've seen from Luke and Noah. They jumped around on a bed, but they've yet to snuggle or even lie next to each other on one.
