  • 1996-1997: Kerr Smith, who played gay highschool/college student Jack McPhee on Dawson's Creek appeard as Ryder Hughes (co-star James Van Der Beek appeared on the show in 1995 as Stephen Anderson; the actor who portrayed Dawson's father, John Wesley Shipp, also appeared on the show and won a Daytime Emmy in 1988 as Best Supporting Actor portraying Doug Cummings; the current Paul Ryan, Roger Howarth, also appeared on the 5th season of Dawson's Creek)
