Luke was on very briefly today and he even he didn't want to stick around for one of the worst episodes of ATWT since... oh... Wednesday's show.  He just had a couple of scenes with Holden sagely advising him on how to save his marriage.  There was a nice Luke/Holden hug and for some of us, that's worth the price of admission.

As for the rest of the show, it was pretty awful.  Henry persuaded Bonnie to give up years of law school and practicing to run Metro (which longtime fans will remember she used to way back when).  I see the show is setting up Bonnie again to be the third in a triangle in which she's destined to lose and has no chemistry with the man she's after.

Then there's ghost Sofie persuading Meg to shoot and kill Paul.  Not only did Meg not do the job (then turn the gun on herself, which I was truly hoping for), the acting and the writing was absolutely horrendous.  The worst part?  When ghost Sofie pushed the door open!  It's enough to make you long for the days of Noah ignoring Luke to hold Ameera's hand.

Sadly, we'll have more of this nonsense (and Luke continuing to consel his parents on their marriage) on tomorrow's show.  But at least Aaron, Chris and Casey will be on.  And if we're lucky, shirtless.
